The Ralls County Extension office in New London, is seeking a professional, friendly, well organized individual to perform bookkeeping, website updates, secretarial duties, event coordination and other office duties in support of the council and MU staff. This position is an employee of the University of Missouri Council and is responsible for a variety of secretarial work and other office management for the county Extension programs.
This is a full time position 8 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. And occasional overtime as needed.
Minimum requirements : high school diploma or equivalent, ability to type 50 words a minute with high accuracy,effective written and verbal communication skills, and proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and bookkeeping. $12.50 per hr. Have you seen Millie? She's been spotted in the Rt J/Rt W area E/SE Monroe City. Very timid to strangers. Would possible come to a neutral,balanced small dog.Do Not Chase! You could cause her to run into traffic.

4,100 DOGS OR MORE ARE KILLED EVERY DAY IN SHELTERS!!!
What can you do to reduce that number?
1. Support and Participate in the Clear the Shelters program.
2. Adopt a dog from your local shelter and give them a forever home.
Encourage your friends and relatives to do the same.
3. Have your current pets spayed or neutered.
4. DO NOT SUPPORT pet stores or people who sell dogs from
Indiscriminate dog breeders or puppy mills.Thankfully many pet stores now just have
shelter animals available.
5. Volunteer at Shelters and Rescues walking or playing with the dogs or cleaning kennels.
6. If you do not have time to volunteer DONATE. Donate food, toys, bedding or money.
7. Foster dogs from rescues and shelters until they can find a forever home.Sometimes
the only thing keeping an animal from being adopted is just a little basic training or
socializing.
There is so much you can do to help from small to large. PLEASE HELP Clear the Shelters!!!
