Furiends, we have been quiet on here for a while but are wanting to share a (bittersweet) update. After many years selling on Etsy, we have decided to close our store, hopefully only temporarily.
This decision is not one we've made lightly and is due to several factors:
📈 Rising costs of shipping and materials making it harder to bring you products at affordable prices
🛒 Etsy changing policies and fees that have made it harder for us to compete without compromising on quality or price
👩‍🎓 Me now working full time (and then some) since finishing my PhD in 2021
I really am hoping that this is not a "goodbye" but rather a "see you later" as I genuinely love making bandanas, bringing smiles to faces, and seeing your gorgeous pet photos. I'm going to keep investigating ways to make reopening sustainable.
Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts here at the Love, Laikyn family for the support and love we've been shown over these last 6 years. You've brought so much light and joy to me, my husband, and of course to our best girl Laikyn

🌼 DAFFODIL DAY 🌼 the Love Laikyn way. Last year we made a handful of bandanas to be sold at stalls in Mossman & Port Douglas, and this year we tripled our efforts with three sunshiney styles to choose from (swipe ⬅️ to see them all!).
The Love Laikyn family covered all fabric costs so that 100% of the sale price went straight to the Cancer Council 🎗
Between selling bandanas, daffodils and all of the other amazing merch out of their DaffBarrow™️, the absolute legends at the Mossman Fundraising Branch for Cancer Council Queensland raised an incredible $4968.90 for cancer research and care ✨️
We look forward to continuing to support this incredible annual event with limited edition daffodil styles 🌼
