Selda making it snow in spring!
I've found that a quick brush with a rubber brush every few days helps to reduce the amount of dog hair in my house. It is the first thing I do with my boarding dogs that shed!

I went to visit Bluey today🤗. She was so sweet and got a nice long belly scratch through the fence. I wasn't allowed to take her out because I am not signed up for their adoption consultation and there were a few people in line already. I hope someone picks this girl up soon! I will try to take her after my boarding schedule calms down if she is still available!
Luther loves his new bed.
THANK YOU Melissa for donating some brand new items to the foster dogs! A leash and collar, that I will save for Tigger's new home. Also a Tricky Treat Ball!!! It's looking like this treat ball will be keeping Tigger entertained for a while!!

Lots of looks and comments when walking this dog!
To anyone that is hesitant on using the dog park, follow a few simple rules and you will be fine!
1. Keep your dog up to date on all vet recommend vaccinations. This will give you peace of mind knowing your dog is protected from most things at the park.
2. Go in the off hours! Avoid noon, anytime after 3pm, and weekends! If you or your dog have never been to the park, wake up early on a weekday and get there! Most open at 7am. Get your dog well acclimated to this new environment before letting them run with other dogs. If others are there, this is a good time to work outside of the park on a long leash.
3. Always keep an eye on your dog! Stay within 20-50 feet. This is not your dog's free time! You need to watch them and be close enough to correct them if they over step their boundaries or protect them if they get into any issues.
4. Keep it short! 15-30 minutes max. Repetition is more important than being able to stay at the park for long periods of time. Your dog and others will be overly tired and that's when the issues start. Leave or switch sides if you see ANYTHING that concerns you.
5. Keep a squirt water bottle or can of compressed air to help break up any fights.
Enjoy this video of Bob exploring the park early in the morning! Not another dog in sight!
Bob and I have the same mindset when it comes to hanging out with new friends.
"Sure I'll come hangout....and I'm gone!"
Merry Christmas!!!
