She was a German Shepherd dog that I had adopted 12 years prior from the local animal shelter. It was almost impossible to imagine life without a dog by my side. About a month after she passed, I found Storm (the black dog you see in all of my pics!) at the Anne Arundel SPCA. I was so happy with the adoption and the outstanding volunteers they had there, I knew I had to think of a way I could give
back to them. I love to craft, so I decided to create beautiful dog bandanas to donate to the shelter. I sent 30 bandanas to them in the fall of 2016 with the hopes that the SPCA could sell them and raise enough money to pay the adoption fees for one homeless pet. The bandanas were a success and I began to receive more requests for them during the holiday season. While I opened this new Etsy shop for customers to directly purchase my bandanas, I am still committed to continuing to donate bandanas to homeless pets at the SPCA and other no-kill shelters as well. I am forever thankful to those who take their time to save the unwanted dogs in this world. Without them, I may have never met Storm!
