Hi everyone, meet Levi, our newest intake.

Today we were contacted by another vet clinic in a panic. An owner brought Levi to their clinic to be euthanized because he was biting at peoples feet.

Why is it that some people would rather euthanize their dogs than train them? This should not be a common theme, but unfortunately this is the reality we are facing right now.

Levi is barely 4 years old. He is still a puppy. He should not have been facing a death sentence today. Luckily we had some amazing souls step up and offer to take in Levi. They will be working alongside our trainer to ensure he gets the guidance he needs to be a great dog.

Dogs are a 10-15 year commitment. Please keep this in mind when you are considering bringing a new puppy home.

We are still looking for a foster home for Henry who is scheduled to be euthanized on Sunday. He is great with people, just cannot be in a home with other dogs. Happy new year to everyone! Even though we can’t hang out social distance walks with friends and dogs is a great way enjoy the weather and connect safely

Unfortunately there will be no social walk this month due to COVID-19. I am sure everyones dogs are enjoying how much everyone is home. Spend this time teaching your dog some new tricks or games. Stimulating the mind is just as tiring as a walk.
