What are you feeding your bunnies and piggies for dinner? At weekend I try to always have all their favorites here. The buns gets a salad of lettuce, napa cabbage, radicchio, endives, belgium endives, celery, dandelion, cilantro, parsley, bok choy and sometimes dill (not every store carries big bundles). Do your research. Rabbits are not easy pets. They're fragile, heat-sensitive, prey animals that require special diets and exotic veterinary care.

Responsible rescues and shelters do not adopt out rabbits the week before Easter. We will resume adoptions next weekend.

Happy New Year !!! Done a New Year’s grooming with Pepper here and as you can tell she really loved it!! 😁 Pepper is a long haired lionhead and needs to be on a steady grooming schedule about every 4-6 weeks, otherwise she cannot see out of her eyes! So if you get a long haired bunny, remember there’s some additional work involved!

Yesterday we said goodbye to our oldest bunny Berti. We adopted him in 2015 as a partner to Lumi. Both instantly fell in love with each other. And although Berti developed a slight headtilt in 2016 it never slowed him down. His girlfriend left us in 2021 and we moved him over to the living room where he spent the next 2.5 years enjoying the best spot in the house with lots of sunshine. ☀️ His spirit and grumpiness remained strong but his body started failing so we made the difficult decision to let him go and give him the rest he deserves. I imagine he’s cuddling with Lumi now and they’re so happy to be reunited. ❤️

I don’t know if there are rules when or if to trim fur of a peruvian piggy but today I decided that it is too damn warm (even with AC running). I prepped a comfy spot on the couch and while she cuddled with me I was able to take a load off of her! And she’s STILL fuzzy!!
