This spunky and lovable pup, Luka, is full of life and ready for her forever home! At approximately 30 pounds, she's a bundle of playful energy and affection. Luka came to us through our Outreash team after she was found in KCK and no owner came forward.

Luka, at nine months old, came to us without any housetraining but has made amazing progress. She's even decided snow isn't so bad after all! She's a gentle player with humans and a bit more rambunctious with other dogs. She adores her human companions but is not a fan of cats. She may do best in a cat-free home. Luka sleeps soundly through the night in her crate and settles in happily with a treat-stuffed Kong. This playful pup loves toys and brings a puppy-like enthusiasm to her adventures. She's full of love and ready to bond with her people.

Luka is still learning her manners but has shown she's a fast learner with the potential to thrive in a home willing to continue her training. If you're looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your home with love and laughter, she might be the perfect match for you!

Meet adorable Cleo! Cleo is a very sweet 9-month-old puppy, who gets along with the foster's older dog and loves to play with their younger dog. She loves squeaky toys, tennis balls, tugging, snuggling in a lap. She’s good at riding in the car. Cleo weighs 45 lbs and has a cute white-tipped tail. She’s very fast at catching treats and balls and she is strong. Cleo has fun playing in the yard and loves the snowy days and playing in the snow. She sleeps in her kennel and goes in when her foster family leaves and does well. She always potties when she goes outside. She likes to bring her toys to her foster family so they can play too! "Thanks for showing me the way". Theodore eight weeks old border collie mix with his foster sibling Gracie.

While some of our dogs love the snow, others are not a fan. Stewie’s foster had to encourage him to potty because he wanted to back inside as soon as he was outside. Stewie is a shepherd mix who is 5 months old and this is his first experience with snow. He is dog and kid-approved! And potty trained!

Tuna will be spending this Sunday playing fetch inside where is warm and free of ice. Tuna is a 5-month-old Whippet mix who loves to play catch and is a very happy girl. She is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She is also potty trained and kennel trained. Her foster family loves having her in their home. Tuna is 20 lbs of snuggle love. There is joy in rescue. This is one of our younger volunteers, Makayla, holding an Aussie puppy, she and her mom Adrienne Cole transported this afternoon.

This is 11-week-old Nala’s first experience with snow! She is learning all about how fun it is from her mentor foster sibling! She is a beagle mix who is playful, curious and snuggly!

Happy Saturday! There is nothing that will touch your heart more than helping a breeder release a dog. This is Baby allowing her foster to walk up and touch her for the first time without her immediately running away. They usually come afraid, with very little skills, and sometimes under-socialized. We and our rescue partners have developed a reputation for being able to help their dogs find loving homes. Baby is 6 years old and a Bichon Frise. She was saved from death by a woman who heard someone say they were going to kill her because she was too old to be bred and with only one eye would not be worth anything at auction. She asked our rescue to help Baby. She is currently with one of our best fosters and her little dogs who are helping Bsby learn to trust and be a “dog.” Baby is 6 years old and could be adopted by someone who like to help her continue on her journey. The adopter would need to be kind and understanding that it’s going to take her a little bit for her to get used to new surroundings and a new family. The joy and bond adopters feel once a dog feels safe and starts to come out of their shell is life-changing. Looking for a dog that your Grandkids will love too? Champ is so gentle and great with kids! He is a 3-year-old Chinese Shar-Pei/lab mix. He is amazing with people and he loves them too much to share them with pets.
