So, it has been a busy couple of days. Cameo found a plant and it turns out it is poisonous to kitty cats. She started not seeming herself on Sunday and by yesterday morning, she was very sick. I took her into her vet and they immediately sent us to an emergency clinic, even her doctor looked concerned. To say that I was trying to be brave isn't very accurate, I was an ocean of tears. I prayed the whole way to the clinic, and once there, they quickly came and triaged her. Due to her history of asthma, she was in a more critical state. They ran blood work and tried to figure out what toxin she had gotten. The doctor finally came out to get more information from me, relief was through the roof when I heard the doc say "She is a spicy little girl." I knew Cam would pull through. 😅 After x-rays, fluids and anti nausea medicine, Cam was sent home as outpatient care. She didn't want to stress Cam anymore than she already was and they would have had to sedate her every little bit. Cam has eaten good since home last night, and she is keeping the food down. As much as she loves me, I am not her favorite person in the world right now. I am just happy she is home and doing well. I will convince her that I am her favorite person, even if she is bitter. 😬🥰
