**ACTION ALERT**

Our beloved pets are at risk more than ever. September 20th is election day and many of the political parties are looking at the possibility of banning our specialty pets forever.

We encourage you to contact all your local MP's (all parties) with respect, professionalism and factual evidence to why they should say NO to these bans. Show them we are the true, professional and responsible pet owners we are. These bans would affect not only pet owners, but stores, feed suppliers, dry goods retailers and more.

Conservatives - banning the import and export of all specialty pets

NDP - banning import and export of all specialty pets as well as domestic transport (Overnight shipping)

Green - Banning the import and export of all specialty pets, unsure about the rest at this time

Liberal - prefer current laws but are open to listening to partnerships for stronger laws and possible ban of import, export and trade of specialty pets

PPC - Unknown at this time

We can fight this as a group. Make our voices heard!

While we do not have a specific template, here is an example of good things to mention. The best thing to do is make the email subject line " A concern from a Constituent of "

Explain why, to you, the ban of our pets is a bad idea. There are many reasons as they are our pets, and we do take care of them much better than what opposing groups portray us as. Often living much longer than the wild counterparts. Another example is how it will cause a domino affect in our economy, whether directly or indirectly to us as pet owners, or pet stores, dry goods suppliers and even veterinarians etc. Banning can also cause a bigger illegal trade(black market), which is what they are trying to stop.

**note we use the term specialty pets instead if what they call "exotic" or "wildlife" as these wonderful pets are just that. Pets with speciality husbandry needs compared to dogs and cats. Not a scary exotic as they are portrayed to be and the term wildlife is quite deceiving

Incubating this first clutch has definitely been an experience. We want to be real and not pretend that things always go as planned.
We experienced a spike in heat in our incubator which resulted in some dehydration in our eggs early in the incubation.
Despite this set back, with help of advice from some great people in this hobby, the eggs made as good of a comeback as we believe could have happened.
Out of 10 original eggs that were laid, only one went bad, and the remaining 9 have all come out now.
We still know that there is a long road ahead of us beginning to feed, however we are so very grateful to have hatched out as many as we did!
They are small, but are already proving to be tough to have come this far.

Pairing: 1.0 Calico het Clown (originally from ) x 0.1 Pastel Yellowbelly (originally from Dino Reptiles)

Hatched out june 5th and already 3.5 grams. One of a few more cresties looking to ✈️

Pairing was Pastel Yellowbelly poss het Clown (Produced by Dino Reptiles) to a Calico het Clown (Produced by Billy )

Very excited to see what we get and hopefully prove her as het clown 🤞🏻
