🕯️ Sometimes love doesn’t look like saving.
Sometimes it looks like letting go. 💔🐾
Peanut was a tiny Aussie mix with a fragile body and a soul that tried so hard to stay.
And tonight, that fight ends with love.
Despite surgery.
Despite emergency care.
Despite two anti-seizure medications.
Peanut continued to have tremors and seizures.
His little brain was damaged.
He could no longer see.
He could no longer stand.
He no longer understood where he was or why his body wouldn’t listen. 😔
The cause goes deeper than stones.
It points to a serious liver condition, possibly a shunt.
A diagnosis that would require extensive testing, travel, and a complex surgery not available locally.
And even then… Peanut did not have the strength to endure the waiting, the transport, or the pain.
Most importantly, he was suffering.
So tonight, the hardest decision was made.
Not because we gave up.
But because we refused to let him hurt anymore. 🤍
His foster mom stayed with him.
She noticed early.
She acted fast.
She fought for him at every step.
And when the fight became cruelty, she chose mercy. 🙏
Peanut will not leave this world alone, confused, or afraid.
He will leave wrapped in love.
Held.
Known.
And free from pain. 🌈🐶
If you followed his journey…
If you prayed…
If you shared…
Thank you.
That love mattered.
🐾 Rest easy, sweet Peanut
💔 You were so very loved
