Hi I'm Janelle and I love pets, especially the furry four-legged kind! I was born, raised and currently reside in Gurnee. I have no breed preferences.

I grew up with five dogs and participated with them in the canine sport, flyball. My love for pets continued into my former full-time job in radio for almost two decades. I was let go due to budget cuts because of COVID-19. With the radio station, I worked on a weekly basis with Save-A-Pet in Grayslake, a not-for-profit, no-kill shelter. I also helped produce our annual Petpalooza event in Lake Vi

lla where I teamed up with area pet non-profits and pet vendors and provided a free afternoon of festivities for the whole family... and their pets were encouraged to attend. My favorite, and most emotional, pet experience was going down to Texas with K9s4U from McHenry to rescue dogs who were abandoned during Hurricane Harvey. I have no kids or pets, so I'm very flexible and am ready to have a PAWesome time helping to take care of your pet(s) with safety as my #1 priority! I thoroughly enjoy meet & greets beforehand so I can meet you and your furry friend(s). I want to make sure we all click and can have the best time together when I care for your pet(s)! More About Me:

Adores flying single engine airplanes (pursuing private pilot license), volunteering for the Lake County Honor Flight, likes traveling (visited 38 countries so far), enjoys going to concerts, loves photography and is a 25-year-long vegetarian.

It's a beautiful day for a long walk to downtown Grayslake! I'm sitting for Echo and Jynx while their family is away. I enjoyed having brunch outside at Somethings Brewing inc. The pups got dog treats from their bakery that they devoured when we got back to their home! 🐾🦴🐾

Today was my final day walking Walter the French Bulldog. His papa retired and no longer needs my services. I've been walking him every weekday for the past two years. It was great getting to care for him and I'll miss seeing his boopable snoot. 🤎 Janelle Rominski

I'm back home from spending 10 days/9 nights with this cute canine crew who were all rescued by their mom and dad. Their awful past is behind them, thank goodness, and their history is below. 💛🤍🧡

These sisters are Cubby (Poodle mix), Annabelle (Chihuahua mix) and Poppy (Golden Retriever).

Annabelle was found in a vacant home with her babies, she was a stray. Cubby and Poppy were locked in cages until they were six years old after delivering many many many litters in a puppy mill. They both didn't know how to walk after getting out of their crates when rescued. They've come a long way!

Meet my newest dog sitting friends, Mr. Elwood and Ruby the puppy! I had so much fun caring for them while their parents went out of town. Elwood loves his walks and Ruby adores play time! Ruby was recently adopted from Reach Rescue Inc!
