It is with great sadness that our beloved Fynn crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. We are heartbroken 💔 😢
Fynn was diagnosed with bone cancer in early December. Unfortunately, the cancer was extremely progressive. There wasn't any treatment options.
Fynn will be remembered as a Gentle Giant. His sweet demeanor was a comfort to many when visiting seniors centers and hospices. He was a special soul, an angel with fur.
May you rest in peace, big boy. You will live on in our hearts forever ♥️ Run free until we meet again.

Please, do your due diligence when rehoming your beloved pet.

Make sure to really get to know the people. Meet the whole family. If possible visit their home. GET MULTIPLE REFERENCES (including their vet information). Check in with all the names provided. Never give a pet up for free.

Unfortunately, there are too many bad people in this world that don't have the animals best interests at heart. Many dogs end up as dog bait for dog fighting rings, and as meat for someone's supper. Disgusting, but true.

FYI: Please, do the same research into dog rescues. Not all are reputable

Good evening one and all 😊

My husband's co-worker is in search for a temporary foster home for his 1.5 year old Rottweiler while he looks for another place to live. Approximately, 2-8 weeks.
Pheobe loves people, children, other dogs, and cats. Has never shown any aggression. She has a very sweet disposition.
All food will be taken care of and a boarding fee will be given in appreciation. His owner wants to guarantee his beloved fur baby's safety.
Please, this is NOT a foster to adopt situation. It's a paid favor to someone who loves his dog.

If you have ever financially supported Misfits Rescue from Wingham Ontario, please STOP now. The founder fled the province on November 11th from provincial and municipal enforcement for her treatment and care of the animals. The rescue has been under much scrutiny for the last year leading to investigations from the municipality, the province, property standards and other officials. The founder of Misfits rescue fled the province after leaving several animals in foster homes in the surrounding areas. The founder did not notify these foster homes that the rescue had closed. These foster parents have been without any support from the rescue since November 11th, however Wingham Pet Valu still continues to host fundraisers for them, with the most recent one being December 2nd. Please see the photos that these animals were living in and help me spread the word so this person cannot open another rescue in another province. This absolutely cannot happen again. Please, we don't need negative comments, we need to find the fosters with these animals and offer support through food donation, help with vet care and finding forever homes for these animals. Please be kind and remember that the animals are the focus and goal of this post. Thank you.
