Kali's Place Dog Rescue

If you have ever financially supported Misfits Rescue from Wingham Ontario, please STOP now. The founder fled the province on November 11th from provincial and municipal enforcement for her treatment and care of the animals. The rescue has been under much scrutiny for the last year leading to investigations from the municipality, the province, property standards and other officials. The founder of Misfits rescue fled the province after leaving several animals in foster homes in the surrounding areas. The founder did not notify these foster homes that the rescue had closed. These foster parents have been without any support from the rescue since November 11th, however Wingham Pet Valu still continues to host fundraisers for them, with the most recent one being December 2nd. Please see the photos that these animals were living in and help me spread the word so this person cannot open another rescue in another province. This absolutely cannot happen again. Please, we don't need negative comments, we need to find the fosters with these animals and offer support through food donation, help with vet care and finding forever homes for these animals. Please be kind and remember that the animals are the focus and goal of this post. Thank you.

Kali's Place Dog Rescue is a non registered dog rescue. However, it is not illegal to operate an unregistered animal rescue in Canada.

Kali's Place has been operating since 2011 in Waterloo County and moved to Mapleton Township in 2018. We take in 1-2 DISABILITY CHALLENGED dogs per year. We pay all the vet bills out of our own pockets and to date, have NEVER taken a donation from anyone except from family and good friends.

Over the years we have rescued 14 special needs dogs and adopted them out to loving homes. Some of our dogs were deemed unadoptable, but the owners of Kali's Place took them in to their home permanently. We may be small, but we are mighty and make a difference. For that, I am proud!

The owner/operator was kicked out of MAPLETON WHAT'S HAPPENING for being bullied. She was accused of being a theif and how Kali's Place Dog Rescue is a fake. This was not true at all. Therefore, every individual that commented are guilty of defamation and slander. On top of that, all 3 Administrators/ Moderators who refused to delete the post immediately after reporting it 9 time are just as guilty.
Legal action is ongoing

Fynn was found abandoned on a manure pile at a puppy mill. He was malnourished, dehydrated, full of worms, and has Rickets. Due to his bad start in life, Fynn has many medical issues.

Meet Cricket. She was born without an undeveloped urinary reflux valve. This leaves her in pain off and on from ongoing urinary track infections.
