Max was a happy dog, full of life, survived cancer, to only be taken away
unexpectedly following a routine physical and vaccination procedure.

IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE MY POOR DOG MAX, WAS KILLED, OUT OF GROSS NEGLECT, BY A JACKASS THAT PASSED FOR A VET. !
THAT ORGANIZATION STILL WON'T ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY ! I'M NOW IN THE PROCESS OF SUING THEIR ASS AND EXPOSING THAT CRUMMY ORGANIZATION FOR WHAT THEY ARE !!!!

Speranza Animal Rescue

I got contacted this evening regarding a very sad situation. ...

A local man had passed away this morning. Leaving his best friend of 15 years - a dog named Midnight.

When we arrived at the man's house , we were greeted by a few family friends, and the dog.

This old boy had no idea that his dad had passed.

His daughter told us he wouldn't know that something was wrong til this evening - at bedtime - as that's when he would snuggle in bed beside him.

On the way to the vet we knew that Midnight was not in the best condition. Frail. Weak. Arthritic .He was sadly suffering for sometime health wise...

At 7:45 this evening I snuggled Midnight as he crossed the bridge.

Right before his last breath he let out a sigh and wagged his tail- I truly believe that's when he saw his dad again- and they are now together for their bedtime ritual ♡

Can't believe it's been 2 years since my buddy Max died at the hands of a wreckless vet., due to a non needed vaccine, after having survived cancer.
Feels like last week. Time does not heal all wounds.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of our beloved Max's death !
He survived an aggressive cancer, only to be taken away, due the careless and wreckless act of a doctor, who supposedly took an oath to do all that they could to save animals, and not to kill them !
The level of disgust is just as high, if not higher than a year ago !

I cannot say how much I feel, that in part I failed him !

Sunlight streams through the windowpane
unto a spot on the floor....
then I remember,
it's where you used to lie,
but now you are no more.
Our feet walk down a hall of carpet,
and muted echoes sound....
then I remember,
it's where your paws would joyously abound.
A voice is heard along the road,
and up beyond the hill,
then I remember it can't be yours....
your golden voice is still.
But I'll take that vacant spot of floor
and empty muted hall
and lay them with the absent voice
and unused dish along the wall.
I'll wrap these treasured memorials
in a blanket of my love
and keep them for my best friend
until we meet above.

Max was unique, but Dex is a great dog as well, and gets a lot of compliments from everybody. He is a pure breed .

Little did we know that winning the cancer battled was not the most threatening battle, but rather an non essential vaccine would be the killer, and an idiot doctor would be the biggest threat !
