So this happened last night for one of our Breeders Club Members "Melvatar Cavaliers". ❤ Beautiful Maya naturally gave birth to 5 Ruby girls and 2 Ruby boys, all very healthy and strong babies. Maya has been fed Organic Paws before and during her pregnancy and as you can see she is glowing with health after just giving birth. All puppies are now/will be available for adoption when they are old enough to leave Maya.

Thank you to everyone that sent in photos/videos of their dogs to be part of our upcoming marketing video. Selecting the perfect group was a lot more difficult than we thought, but we have finally chosen a few furry friends all unique in their own way that we think will do an amazing job.

Everyone that entered has been replied to now and we look forward to shooting in a couple of weeks time. We will obviously post the video once completed for all to enjoy.

CANINE SUPERSTARS

We have received an amazing response so far from many of our Gold Coast (and surrounds) followers sending in photos of their 4 legged loved ones for our up and coming marketing campaign video shoot, THANK YOU.

So many different breeds which was so surprising and very welcomed but it has also made it so difficult for us to choose, they are all unbelievably gorgeous and all different. I think we may have to increase our original number of dogs we are looking for. 😉

I have personally received Bowen Therapy a few times over the years when my body has seized up usually from tension or stress or is just completely out of balance, and it has always brought me immediate relief and restored balance in my body. Another gorgeous litter from one of our Breeders Club breeders "Melvatar Cavaliers" based in VIC. Mum Sienna gave birth 6 weeks ago to these 3 little treasures, 2 boys and 1 girl who are growing rapidly getting ready to go to their already found new forever homes in 3-4 weeks time.

Melvatar Cavaliers switched to feeding their breeding parents and all puppies Organic Paws 3 months ago. Owner Maria told me on the phone this morning she is not looking back and extremely happy she made the switch. Maria told me she has noticed many health improvements in her dogs since feeding her dogs our products including their coat, smell and the pups are thriving putting on a fast healthy weight every day. So excited to share the arrival of the first litter of our "Organic Paws Breeders Club". ❤❤❤❤

Priya from Avintara Cavaliers VIC gave birth one week ago to 4 absolutely gorgeous THRIVING healthy puppies, just took at them !!! cuteness overload on steroids !!😍. I was just speaking with their breeder Gaynor who told me they are absolutely thriving and have doubled their weight in their first week which is amazing ! They are EXCLUSIVELY fed Organic Paws.

Unfortunately if you are looking for one of these gorgeous little babies to join your family they have already been sold, however Gaynor has another mum coming into season soon.

Let us also remember all the loyal and brave dogs that were wounded and killed on the front line. Many dogs were trained and used to detect the presence of the enemy, bombs and mines. They located wounded soldiers, delivered messages, guarded and protected camps and bases. They also provided continuous unconditional and much needed companionship and comfort to many soldiers amidst the the never ending horrific chaos of battle. What their short life must have been like. 🥲

Yesterdays processing - Grass fed lambs fresh and direct from our farmers in Roma, b***d out, processed, packaged and in our freezers within a couple of hours. Whole lamb legs, lamb shoulder meat, ribs and loins are what is in our Lamb recipes. Topside and round cuts off the legs are used to make our Lamb Sliders. All Certified Organic, all premium quality, transparent and what our little loved ones deserve.🐾❤

WHY IS SO IMPORTANT TO FEED OUR PETS ORGANIC FOOD AND ALSO EAT IT OURSELVES

Unfortunately we live in a very toxic world these days, an enormous array of chemicals and toxin exposure has crept into our world over the last few decades and is now at an all-time high. Poisons are sprayed in our sky, sprayed on and added to our food, harmful chemicals are in our shampoos, soaps, deodorants, cleaning products, carpets, bedding and even our clothes. Our bodies are working overtime to naturally expel this overload of toxic exposure and chronic illness is increasing at a rapid rate. Our health system is constantly behind the 8 ball with no relief in sight. Profits and consumerism are driving the unsustainable freight train and we are all paying the price.

Alarming as this all is, it is not all doom and gloom, we do have choices on what we focus on, how we live our lives and more importantly what we choose to eat to maintain good vibrant health while we are living out our days on this beautiful planet of ours.

We all know we are what we eat and the same goes for our pets. Like all or most non organic products, meat and meat products available today contain residues of many chemicals and toxins including antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, hormones and GMO’s in livestock feed and in most cases added preservatives and colours for extra shelf life. When these toxins are consumed on a regular basis they can build up in the body, weakening the immune system and eventually develop into degenerative diseases like kidney, liver and heart failure, cancer, allergies and chronic skin conditions.

We have now seen literally hundreds of customers with protein allergy pets that are able to eat our meals consisting of the same protein that their pet has been previous unable to eat in other pet foods without an allergic reaction. From this outcome we can only presume that the pet is not actually allergic to the protein itself, it is more than likely allergic to a preservative, chemical, antibiotic, pesticide or some other additive or hormone typically used throughout the many stages of feeding and raising non organic livestock today.

Feeding yourself and your pet a fresh Certified Organic diet containing a richer source of clean nutrients, not only gives you and your pet the best possible chance to live a long life of thriving health, you are also helping support eco friendly and sustainable practices that are helping to shift our world and future to that of a better place for all. What this means is that we will now be working closely with many registered breeders who specifically understand the importance of feeding a fresh organic raw meat diet to their breeding parents to maintain optimum health throughout all stages of the breeding process. Parents with a strong foundation of excellent health in turn produce healthy, vibrant offspring. Organic Paws is therefore their choice of pet food to ensure this is achieved.

When looking for a new puppy or kitten to join your family, I think we would all agree finding a healthy one is priority. It can also be challenging to find a breeder that is not only in line with your high breeding standards but one that is also steadfast on providing premium dietary requirements to both the parents and their litters before, during and after the breeding process.

We launched Organic Paws in March of 2011, and we often think about those customers that have been feeding their furry family members our products for many many years. They get it. We have kept in touch with many of you, have become friends and watched your little champions gracefully age with their still in tact thriving amazing health. ❤

A little education on “AUSTRALIAN CERTIFIED ORGANIC LOGOS” for those that are interested.

Currently shown on some of our product packaging, and soon to be present on all, you will notice we are using 2 Certified Organic Logos, so I just wanted to explain why this is the case and the difference is between them.

The “A” logo is the actual logo given when a farmer or processor is Certified with the Australian Certified Organic’s (ACO) National Standards. The ACO is the largest Australian Certifier for organic and biodynamic produce. They are an independent body that governs and provides the rigorous 3rd party report reviewing process including the auditing of operations covering production, processing, transportation and labelling at minimum. It is this standard that provides transparency and credibility for the industry and protects the consumer against deception and fraud. This is the independent body who we work closely with and who gives us our Organic Certification.

The ”Bud” logo as more widely recognised on organic product packaging in Australia. This is the logo of Australian Organic Limited. They are an independent industry not-for-profit body that engages with Govt and industry around commercial and social interests of farmers and processors who are Certified Organic with the ACO, like ourselves. They help promote and protect the interests of the organic industry as a whole, and help address the industry’s ongoing needs and challenges. To obtain use of the widely recognised bug logo on packaging, one is firstly required to be approved Certified Organic in conjunction with the ACO National Standards, in addition to paying a quarterly levy based on gross income to use their widely recognised bud logo. This levy enables their ongoing not for profit operations to continue in helping the growth of the organic industry as a whole. It is a processors or farmers choice to join the Australian Organic Limited and use their bud logo and is not required or compulsory to obtain Organic Certification with the ACO.

We have always only used the “Bud” logo on our packaging as the ACO “A” logo was virtually non existent or used when we first started back in 2011 and regulations have changed over the years. We have recently decided to give more “visual” support and recognition to the ACO for their tireless day to day direct operations with Certified Organic operators like ourselves by also putting their “A” logo on our packaging. After all they are the ones we are actually Certified Organic with.

ORIGINAL BLENDS / POWERHOUSE RECIPES – what is the difference ?

Sometimes we get asked what is the difference between our Original Blends and our Powerhouse recipes ?

Our 3 Powerhouse recipes, like our Original Blend range, are formulated to simulate a canine ancestral diet with a 80% meat/10% organ/10% bone ratio making them complete and balanced to feed as an everyday meal.

They do however each contain their own additional unique nutritionally dense ingredients and targeted health areas that can help take your pet's health to the next level. Additional ingredients can include H**p Seed Oil, Turmeric, Coconut Oil, Fresh Sardines, Certified Organic Whole Eggs and a variety of additional Organs that are often hard to source.

Powerhouse Lamb & Chicken w’ Turmeric & Coconut Oil –
When combined, turmeric and coconut oil contain amazing anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, wound healing and anti-cancer activities. These two ingredients alone are known to strengthen the immune system, aid with nutrient absorption, relieve chronic skin conditions, improve brain function and help relieve arthritic joint pain and stiffness. Add a small pinch of pepper for extra absorption.

Powerhouse Goat & Lamb w’ Leafy Greens –
This recipe focuses on providing a high protein diet with balanced fats. Added fresh sardines, whole eggs, h**p seed oil and vegetable fibre ensures this recipe packs a powerful punch of abundant vitamins, minerals, essential nutrients and fatty acids. Recommended primarily for dogs or an occasional meal for cats, only due to the vege content.

Powerhouse Turkey & Chicken Organ Blend –
A nutrient dense meal containing many different organs blended together with easily digested fresh turkey and chicken meat and bone. Popular with our feline friends out there, this recipe provides a highly concentrated source of abundant nutrients, important vitamins including E,A,K,D and B’s and quality protein, all required for optimum pet health and function. With fresh caught sardines and h**p seed oil added, this recipe provides a rich source of omega 3 and 6, vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients.

Our last delivery for 2023 left early this morning with one of our many amazing freight guys who we rely on heavily every day to pick up our orders and get them where they need to go as quickly as possible. You guys are amazing, thank you for all you do for us.

We had our Australian Certified Organic (ACO) audit today and once again passed with flying colours. :)

The audit includes a full inspection of our premises, equipment, processing procedures, temperature control, food handling practices (human standards), cleanliness and sanitation and a full product ingredient traceability of any individual "box" of Organic Paws the auditor may decide to pull out of our freezer. This means we have to show proof that every ingredient we use to produce a box of Organic Paws is accounted for from the time that ingredient arrives at our factory to the time that individual box leaves our factory.

This also includes assessing all organic supplier invoicing, weights, amounts, processing batch dates/amounts, our stockist invoicing outgoing records and more. We are required to account for every kg produced !!!

We are not only accredited with the ACO but also have certification with Safe Food QLD. No other raw pet food manufacturer in Australia currently holds both certifications.
