As we wind down on Giving Tuesday, we want to tell everyone how thankful we are for their support. We are blessed to have amazing supporters, and please know that every dollar matters and we are thankful for each dollar. Before our cats are ready to be adopted, we ensure they are healthy and their needs are met. Your donations make that possible! Dexter and Lexi have only been in foster care a few weeks but they will need dental cleanings. Dexter is potentially looking at a full mouth extraction. Bella needs a quiet home with someone who understands that she might take some time to warm up and adjust. Bella is the kind of cat that wants to be near you but not in your lap. She loves to have conversations with her person. Bella should go to a home without children. She would be okay with cats with a proper introduction. She is not good with dogs. Bella is a smart girl who is just looking for her perfect home! Bella recently had a dental and blood work. The dental went well and her blood work was good. Meet Ada! Ada is around 8 months old and is located in Baltimore, MD. She is available for adoption within 1.5 hours of her location. Ada is very smart and playful! She quickly takes to others. She LOVES to play a lot. For this reason, she needs a home with another playful cat or kitten to help keep her engaged. She has not been tested with dogs but she should do okay with cat friendly dogs with a proper introduction. They came into the rescue with some dental problems. Maine C**n Rescue is throwing together a pop-up holiday auction to help raise some funds towards their dental expenses. Hi Maine C**n Rescue followers! My name is Indy, yes that Indy! You might have heard of me. I am still looking for my forever home! The wonderful people at Maine C**n Rescue have been caring for me since February of 2023. They were really great and saved me from the shelter. My foster mom is great! She has been taking great care of me, but she would love for me to have a family of my very own! Yes, you will see I was told by my doctor that I have HCM. It is a heart condition. The good news is my case is very mild. My foster mom has taken me for 2 Echocardiograms. They have remained the same which is good news! I am not on any medication for HCM. I just need to follow up with my doctor yearly to be sure I stay in tip top shape! I am around 4 years old. My foster mom doesn't have a dog so I don't know how I would feel about them, but if you would be patient with me and your dog is calm I would probably be okay! Cats..well I am not a big fan of cats. I would prefer to be the only cat in your life. I love pets and I love attention. Kids..I do not mind kids as long as they are cat-friendly. I had a minor hernia repair surgery a few weeks ago but my foster mom says I am healing really great and ready to spread my paws and find my home. Would you open your home to me and let me show you how much love I have? I am living with my foster mom in Mount Lookout, WV. My foster mom says transport could be worked out for the right family. Say hello to Blu! Blu is 4 years old and she is located in Bozeman, MT. She is available for adoption within 120 miles of her location. Blu's foster mom says she is a queen in training! She loves to be near and follow her foster parents around. She has even turned into a bit of a lap cat. However, Blu is still a little skittish and if approached too quickly she can get scared. For this reason, Blu's home should be with someone who can give her the time she needs to adapt. She would do best in a home with older children. Blu is very playful and would love to have a cat friend to play with! Blu does have Chronic Periodontal disease. Meet Skry! Skry is around 1.5 years old and a dream boy! He loves to have conversations with his people and really likes it when they play with him! He is a curious little boy who likes to get into things if he is not engaged a lot. He is very affectionate and friendly. He would do best in a home without small children and without other cats. He can be with dogs as long as they have been around cats and you are willing to give him a slow introduction. He is located in Olympia, WA. He is available for adoption within 125 miles of his location. He is available for adoption on 11/1.
