Luna, GCHB DC GRD'S STOP THIS CRAZY THING MW CGC was BOV both days at Council Bluffs KC this weekend. We did not stay for the group today since we wanted to get home before dark (it started snowing 20 miles from home). She definitely is better trained than when I sent her with Amanda in June.

Tator Tot is now CH FREE SPIRIT LOVES LAST WISH V GRD (AKC pending). He will be 8 months old next week. He finished with 4 majors in 3 weekends. Tator is out of our bred by boy GCH DC Tux. Tator reminds me of his Dad everyday. He will be going back to his breeder in a few weeks for more training & socialization. And then will come out to field trials next year. Love the way he wants on my lap just for a quick hug & kiss then he is ready to go play again.

Boom ( collar) & Firefly ( collar) out of Merci & Cruizer had their first 4-6 month puppy class. Boom walked away with 2 group 4 with competition in the group. Both of them got better the second day from the first day. We were happy to put smiles on the judges' faces.

Boom ( collar) is going to Michigan to hangout with junior handler Wes & his sister Remy. Boom is his daddy Cruizer's mini me. He looks just like him. And he has the personality to match. Have fun baby boy!

We are looking at placing a few of our wirehair girls 1+ years old in guardian homes (all are champions, dual champions, or grand champions). Each is a different case but you would have to be willing to work with our special circumstances. All dogs must stay intact (no spaying). Must live 5 hours or less from Mission, South Dakota. We also have one, 4 month old male wirehair available to a show/performance home. Photo is of a few of them roasting in front of the heater. We are looking for a home for a 9 year old neutered male smooth dachshund. Unfortunately he does not get along with our young males & has to be separated. He loves kids & cuddles. Good with cats. He will be your constant lap dog. He cannot go to a home with male small dogs. He will be fine with large dogs & any size female dog. Would prefer a home within driving distance of South central South Dakota or southern California. He is a grand champion, dual champion.

Anyone coming through the Rochester, MN area to Sioux Falls, SD for the Sioux Empire KC show or to Rapid City for Rapid City KC the weekend before? I need transport for a miniature wirehair dachshund. Or can pick up & meet Dana in Omaha on Wednesday the 16th around 2pm. I'm trying to get Luna home. She has been with a handler since June.

We have this table set up outside and are using it to build confidence with our dogs and puppies to stand on a table. They get lots of yummies and pets on the table.
