Having previously worked for Petpals (Stockport) for 10 years, I jumped at the opportunity to start running my franchise alongside my wife Lynda. We live in Hazel Grove, centrally located within our franchise area and have been looking a

fter pets for the past 10 years. Alongside pet sitting we also offer a bespoke home boarding service for dogs. We thoroughly enjoy welcoming dogs into our home and seeing them make it their own home-from-home. We have lots of clients who have boarded with us for many years and follow a policy of not mixing dogs from different households without prior agreement and socialisation. Lots of timid and nervous dogs have boarded once and then race up the front step to the house next time they stay! We do recommend booking early, especially for busier times such as school holidays. Our dog walking service usually involves a 40-minute or 1-hour visit but we are very flexible and can adapt our visits to accommodate your needs. We have had lots of elderly dogs needing a little extra attention, sometimes medication. Puppy visits are also popular and during these we play, exercise and practice commands with them, taking care to be consistent with your training and giving regular feedback if needed. We have also had lots of experience with smaller animals with countless home visits looking after cats, rabbits, chickens and the odd iguana! Home animal visits also include those little extras such as watering plants, putting bins out and collecting post, giving added peace of mind whilst you are away. The gorgeous Mia who we've fostered for the last 4 months has gone to her new forever home today. We couldn't be happier about her perfect new home but we will miss her so much. She's kept us entertained and basically sane during lockdown whilst we've had no home boarding - we'll never underestimate the power of pets for companionship and mental health. Thank you Mia for looking after us so well, hopefully we'll see you during walkies in the park!! 🥰 xx
