ChristoFurr ChristoFurr is a rescued Chow Chow. Rescued by Chow Chow Rescue of CNY, he came to us in Jan. 2016. ChristoFurr was born in the Buffalo, NY area in May 2015.

He spent the first few months of his life living in a dirty pen, in absolutely filthy conditions. He was then rescued by the Chow Chow Rescue of Central NY (CCRCNY). They cleaned him up and he came to his FurrEver home in January 2016. He is a much happier boy now.

We are under a tornado watch where I live (in Central NY State). So, I’m hiding behind this chair. But, Mommy is home with me. And she said if the wind gets really bad that I have to go with her to our basement, and I’m not sure I want to do that, because Daddy isn’t home right now. But Mommy said if she has to, she will DRAG me there. She said we can’t have fur flying everywhere. 😳🌪️😬

You can’t hear this picture, but if you could, you would hear my LOUD snoring. I did A LOT yesterday and I am catching up on my sleep. Mommy is going to have to wake me up in a little while, though, because we have to go home from camp. She has some work to do tonight for her second job!

I can't wait until our next family "VAY-CAY-SHUN" at the BIG, BIG BATH! Mommy and Daddy said it won't be TOO much longer. I had a really good time last time we went, and I was a lot more relaxed there. Mommy said it was funny that my craziness went on vacation, too. But she thought maybe the sound of the big, big bath made me calmer. I don't know, all I know is that I liked spending all that time with my DADDY without him having to go to work every day, so.....there's that!! 😁

I am tired. I had a SPA DAY today! RaeAnne did a nice job. I have less fur now, for summer. (Not MUCH less, but....less!) 😁 I was a GOOD BOY, though, and Daddy will get me something yummy for dinner tonight. I wanted Arby's (my favorite), but Daddy said he was going to get me something good at the store. 😋

It’s nicer today. Mostly cloudy, but the sun is peeking out now and again. I took this time to lie down in the leaves, because it’s fun when they get stuck to me. Mom said I’m like Velcro.

It’s bedtime! Mommy had to buy a rug for the bedroom floor because I was skidding around in there. She said that she hopes that I appreciate it, plus all the other rugs she had to put down all throughout the house, because her allergies sure don’t. I could lay on my bed, but that’s too easy. 😆😇😁

Happy New Year everyone! I hope that everyone had a nice holiday! Mommy and Daddy were sick over the holidays. Daddy first, and then Mommy, so no-one posted my Christmas video until now. But I wasn't really "into" the holidays this year for some reason. Mommy said she thinks it's because I'm all grown up now. It's just not as exciting. But, I do still love to look at all the pretty lights in the neighborhood, so there's that. We didn't do anything for New Year's Eve, because Mommy was so sick. But everyone is on the mend now, and I hear that we might get a bit of a snowstorm (that I can go play in) this weekend. We will see!!

It’s bedtime, and someone still has their bone. But what they don’t realize is that mommy’s going to take it away soon. Because mommy needs to get some sleep without hearing chewing on a bone all night long. 😆

ChristoFurr’s Story

When ChristoFurr was first rescued, he was not in very good condition. A big thank you to his first mommy, Cindy Stone, at the Chow Chow Rescue of CNY (CCRCNY) in Brewerton for cleaning him up and giving him some love and re-programming before he was adopted. This page was initially started so that people who had grown fond of ChristoFurr could follow his progress after his adoption. ChristoFurr is doing well these days - he is very spoiled!
