Oklahoma Collie/Sheltie Rescue We are a small army of volunteers dedicated to help Collies and Shelties in need. We provide foster and end of life care for dogs in our program.

Rescuing our beloved breeds in OK, since 1999 (but originally started in California, in 1970!). We are a foster based organization, so we do not have a primary location. We had to leave Oklahoma in 2013 due to a job transfer, but we're still working from 1500 miles away to help save our beloved breeds. Thank goodness for the internet! We couldn't do it without it, or without all the wonderful volunteers and fellow rescuers we've been working with since August 1999.

Remember, sidewalks and concrete are exceptionally hot for your dog's foot pads, cars can reach 150+ degrees, and shade and lots of water are a must for any time spent outside. Imagine going outside wearing a fur coat today. That's how miserable your pets will be in this heat, so please keep them inside and check water levels throughout the day as the go out to potty. Stay safe! 🐾💕
