My cute friends from last week!

I visited Bailey to give him fluids and got to hang out with his dog brothers, Amos and Odie, while I was there.

Lilly and Spiderman were camera shy so I don’t have any photos of them. Spiderman the hermit crab buries himself deep in the sand every once in a while. Lilly is just a really shy kitty and I don’t take offense that she prefers to hide during my visits.

I love the variety of animals I got to see! 😺

We went away to NH this weekend! We had a nice day Friday but it was raining all day Saturday so we were stuck inside the majority of the day. Then Sunday we decided to head home early because our cat, B***y, was really sad while we were gone.

It was nice to get away and do something different but it’s always my luck to have bad weather. B***y is much happier now that we are home, at least. 💙

They are just so handsome! I was worried I didn’t get a good photo of The Dude because he was not into the photoshoot. B***y, on the other hand, enjoys the photoshoots a little too much. I can barely set up without him trying to pose on the backdrop. 😹

I am a slacker and I haven’t posted my weekly pet sitting collages in a few weeks! 🙈 I always have good intentions on doing this but sometimes I get distracted with other things.

These cuties are from the week of June 3rd.

I was finishing up my 2 weeks with Violet and Maggie. I just started my 2 weeks with Sage and Willow. I had my monthly visit with Princess! And I got to visit Jack at his house (he usually stays with me when his family goes away longer than a few days). 🩵

Today would have been Pebbles’ fake birthday! For years I thought her birthday was June 23rd until I found out that it was October 5th. I felt horrible that I had it wrong for so long! So until she passed away, she had 2 birthdays a year because it felt wrong to not celebrate June 23rd when it came around. She was so spoiled and I miss her so much! Look how happy she was! 😹 This is one of my favorite pictures of the 2 of us because I laugh so hard when I see that “smile”.

My nephew puppy, Gator, had surgery this week. He’s doing great but the medications he’s on have him acting like a goofball! Instead of resting, he tries to follow his mom all over the place. Here he is being needy and looking for some comfort. I love his silly droopy face and whacky ears. 💚

My cat, B***y, said I’m not allowed to book any more pet sitting! I told him that’s not going to happen but I did promise him not to overbook myself. The summer is booking up fast, especially July!

I will be away the weekends of June 28th and August 2nd. I try not to take too much time off so I can be available for pet sitting. If you’re going away, please let me know as soon as you can, as I like to plan ahead. 😺

I think sometimes animals know when it’s my last visit with them. I’ve been taking care of Mocha for a week and while she’s always very cuddly, she seemed extra cuddly today. She was giving me lots of head butts and was trying to trip me as I walked. I’ll miss her but I know I’ll see her again! And I know she will be super happy when her family gets home! 🥰

Happy Birthday to my beautiful mom!

I feel like I say it all the time but she is the kindest person I know! She takes care of so many people in her life, sometimes without considering her own needs.

Even though I’m an adult (it doesn’t feel like it sometimes! lol), she still takes care of me and I know she’s my #1 supporter. She is the reason I am who I am. She taught me to be nice and polite to people, she taught me to help others, she taught me to work hard and to be independent, and she passed on her love of animals to me. I am a good person because of her.

I love you, mom! 🩵🩵🩵

The Dude gave my coworkers and me a scare the other day! He wasn’t able to use one of his front legs and he was acting strange. We got flashbacks of what happened to Marshmallow and feared the worst.

After some tests, medications, acupuncture, and doing research, the doctors thought maybe he had a pinched nerve but we weren’t sure if it was from an injury or maybe his cancer was spreading.

We didn’t want him to be alone that night so he came home with me for a slumber party! I loved cuddling with him in bed and it was nice being able to keep an eye on him and not worry. Dude started walking normal that night and we are all happy he’s better!

I think the best part of the slumber party was seeing Shawn sleeping on the very edge of the bed so Dude could sprawl out and be comfortable. That was so sweet!
