Hello, I am Nemo, a happy little budgie who likes to talk. I live with Phoenix who is a cockatiel, and two humans. We live in Barrie, Canada.

At home, we all talk in Urdu and English, even Phoenix.

Happy new year everybirdie! 🎉

I am spending new year's eve practicing my speech for Phoenix. I want him to give me snuggles. That's why I am preparing the perfect speech to win his heart. How do you think I did?

It's been a crazy couple of months! Phoenix has had a very hormonal fall. He tried to sit on eggs, make nests in dark corners and screamed all day. He wasn't sleeping or being nice to Nemo. The humans were going nuts trying to calm this loud and aggressive cockatiel. Thankfully this phase passed after 8 long weeks and things are back to normal now.

What did Nemo say? 💥Absolutely delicious!💥

I like to watch cooking shows with my human, especially the Great British Bake Off. When the judge Prue Leith tells the bakers that their cookies were absolutely delicious, I listen intently, and then I practice saying "absolutely delicious".

You never know when they will call me to be a celebrity judge on the show.

Sneeze attack! 🐦 For over a year, my humans couldn't figure out what I was doing when I sneezed. Every time I sneezed, they would get really worried that I am sick. They would pick me up and give me extra kisses. But don't worry, I am just sneezing because I eat too fast and food gets stuck in my throat.

Shower time! I love water so much, I think I was a fish in my previous life. 🐟

I hate showering in the human-sized bathroom. So one day when my human was washing dishes, I just casually flew over and showered in the the kitchen sink. This red Tupperware lid is my favourite bath tub, so now it's officially reserved for me.

Phoenix and I like to forage on the ground for yummies. In the wild, we would be eating grass. So my humans sometimes get "cat grass" for us. 🌾

As you can see, Phoenix takes his time chewing but I am always rushing through my meals because I've got things to do. 😂

I like to wish everyone a nice day, all day, everyday. It's one of my favourite things to say, especially when my humans are going out. If I say it very sweetly, my humans turn back from the door and come back to give me extra kisses. It works every time. And that's why they are always running late 😆
