Bella Rosa is a little beige Chihuahua. She has a kind of secret about her. Her eyes say it all.
A little update on our little Bella Rosa. We took Bella to a bigger clinic for a second opinion and the cardiologist told us her heart is very enlarged. We felt well looked after at this clinic. Bella has to have alot of medication to help her. Lots of tears have flown on mine and Rodney's side. But we will keep strong and enjoy our time with our beautiful little doggy girl 💐

So here is a photo of me at my cardiologist doing a scan on my heart this morning. She is concerned but did tell my mom and dad we have this under control. We just need to keep adjusting my medication. My weight is in good range. But I can't eat just anything anymore and need to go on a cardiac food diet for my leaking vulve. Damn just because I am small doggie I get this diagnosis which is common but I have the best best care at hand 💐🌻
So yesterday my mom and dad had to quickly take me into see my vet. I was super sleepy and my heart was beating very fast. When the Dr did an ECG on me the machine was beeping all the time. I had to stay on the machine untill my heart rate went down. My vet phoned my cardiologist and told her what was happening. I have to stop taking one of my heart pills and she wants to see me on Monday at 9h30. I was allowed to go home but mom and dad have to watch me carefully 💐🌻
It has gotten so hot on my walks but I always have ice cold water available 💐🌻🥰
Yay so finally my sisters brought my Mom back. I am so happy. Dad and I had a fun time to while Mom was away. Dad bathed me and we went for walks and drives in my car. Dad had to give Mom a bit of sad news. I saw my cardiologist last Wednesday and I need to take 3 tablets a day now for my heart. Mom was sad and cried but I gave her lots of licks and attention till she felt better. I am just happy to have Mom and Dad back together with me again. Sending lots of love to you all 💐🌻
So yesterday my sisters came to visit me. I was so happy but then my mom left with them. They took mom away on a wellness holiday. My dad took me for a walk but I was hoping to go find mom. She must be having fun with my sisters so I will just lie on her side of the bed to keep it warm for her till she comes back in a few days time.
Had my dinner and now I am resting. I have a leaky heart valve and have started to take prevented heart medication. I see my heart specialist every 3 months for a heart scan and check up. My blood tests look good as well. All my Mom and Dad do and wish for me is to have a relaxed life as possible to slow the heart leak down.
Today is a chill day on my soft carpet that my sisters gave me for my birthday. My toy dog Fluffy is chilling with me 🥰

Today I went to the vet for a check up. I then had a bath and sat next to the heater to dry me while I ate my dinner.

My Dad wants to get rid of some of my toys but my Mom is like oh no no no to many memories of when I got each toy. I think Mom won as we are keeping all my toys... Yay....

So yesterdays heart scan went well. Bella was calm and took it all in her stride. The scan showed that her heart valve is not sealing properly and causing a leak. There are stages and she is in stage 2. As the stages progress she will have to go onto tablets. To slow the progress down we need to keep her as calm as can be and not to much running around like a lunatic. Generally she is a calm little doggie. Apparently this condition is common in sausage dogs and chihuahuas. Bella has a heart pass book now and has to go every 3 months for a check up where they will just listen to her heart. The next scan will be done in a year's time.
An update on our little Bella. She has a leaky heart syndrome in beginning stage. For it not to advance we need to keep her happy..
