Here are a few photos from a recent and done for Middlesex County Vocational School in .

A power outage had wreaked havoc on their
, causing to build up and a major overhaul to be needed.

They had also planned to use the tanks for a project using a new rack system built by staff and students,

Both of these led to NJAS being engaged for assistance.

The students will be finishing up plumbing for the hydroponics. Can't wait to see what they achieve with it!

Huge made for the 150 gallon at the at the 1st appointment with NJAS! The objective was to add for the while keeping an overall appearance. Multiple partial changes were required to restore color to the gravel, while a collection of new artificial plants was hand selected for this specific location. An autofeeder will ensure multiple measured feedings daily to keep excessive waste to a minimum.

It has been a while since our last post as we’ve been logging many miles in the service vans, however, today we were asked by one of our clients to share a very important message about the dangers of drug addiction and the help increasing awareness of this often-hidden epidemic can bring.

His son, Michael K.J. Tous would have celebrated his 24th birthday today, but sadly left his family and friends in this world on September 5, passing of an overdose after completing rehab in Florida while preparing to return home to loved ones in NJ.

Join us in pausing for a moment in remembrance of a life taken too young and if you or family members are struggling with addiction, please seek out help.

These beautiful freshwater kribensis surprised us with babies this morning in one of our quarantine tanks at our offices.

Kribensis are a West African cichlid that are relatively easy to keep. Growing to a size of 3-4" they are generally peaceful though territorial and do well with other larger bodied peaceful to semi-aggressive fish.

These are just one of many options we offer for stocking our service clients' freshwater .

On Tues we gave this goldfish aquarium a makeover with new gravel and a thorough cleaning. Here is the feedback we received from our client on Weds: "I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for the great job that you did on the aquarium today. It looks so nice.
