Due to changes in circumstances, YES. GOOD DOG will only operate on a Monday and a Friday from the 29th of July. Up until this date we are still operating Monday through to Friday.
This means spots will fill up fast once it changes over to just two days, so if you are looking at ongoing training, pls book in advance to secure your place.

Do you remember how to still get your flirt on?

The flirt pole is a great way to work on impulse control while your dog is stilling having some fun, gets in some good exercise some mental simulation.

Really good for working dogs and high drive dogs, dogs who need to learn to be able to switch off and learn to control their impulses.

The next time your dog is doing something you find problematic, think to yourself what is the dog trying to achieve and how does it benefit them.

Dogs will ONLY keep doing a behaviour good or bad if it benefits them some how.

If you dog is constantly baking at things outside the window
Ask yourself what is the benefit/ reward for them ?

Here lies the answer to helping your dog.

Hey Tracey, how are you? Sorry to hear the trip didn't work out, but I hope the move to Warrnambool is going well!

I just wanted to give you an update on Izzy. She still wasn't completely out of pain when you saw her last.

Well.. she is completely pain free now and off the medication. She is doing great! She is back to her happy playful self, and we are so thankful.

We also finally got her to drop! Here's a quick video we took yesterday 😊

I miss this dude most days. Apophis come to me as a Canine Development Dog and I was lucky enough to be his handler for over 12 month. Giving him back was one of my sadest days. He was a true gentleman with such a willingness to learn and protect. I pray he is in good hands now and gets to do what he loves. Some dogs just come into your life when you need them. NEW DATES ANNOUNCED LOOSE LEAD WALKING WORKSHOP Date & Time Thursday 15th, 22nd & 29th Feb 6:30-7:30pm Cost: Total $150 for all 3x 1 hour sessions Location: Woodford Primary School. 8 Victoria st Woodford Contact: 0411334943 In this workshop, you will learn new techniques and knowledge to help you achieve that allusive loose lead walking. You will need a 🐕Treat pouch ( I have them for sale if needed $20) 🐕A slip lead. I’d ask that you bring your dog on a collar and lead and bring the slip lead with you, as I will be showing you the correct way to use it. I have them available for purchase if you do not or can not get one they are $25 and correct cash will be required thanks 😌 You can purchase a slip lead and pouch together as a pack $35. Pls bring correct cash. Not suitable for highly reactive dogs No dogs on heat pls Dog must be 6 months and over and have proof of current C5 vaccination. As spots are only limited to 6, the first 6 to confirm and pay in full will have their spot secured. No refund or make up classes for missed sessions. Tonight was the last class of the first round of our Loose Lead Walking Workshop. Just so proud of everyone and their commitment to their dog. You all worked so well with your dog as a team. Here is a sneak peak of some of the fun we had on our last session ❤️🐕

A client sent me this video. This client is from my second round of the loose lead walking workshop, after one session. Nothing makes my heart sing with happiness more than when they send me a video of their wins. This shows me they really want help and are dedicated and invested in change for a better life for their dog and them. Just made my day ❤️☺️

First session completed of our 3 part Loose lead walking workshop. What a top group of people and all wonderful dogs, who were all pooped by the end of the session. Tonight we cover the correct equipment, how to use food/ dinner for motivation and rewards, engagement and door manner. Can’t wait for next week. Make sure you practise your home work class ☺️❤️🐕

Dog Reactivity Session You may have seen some previous video of a dog I was working with, using a clicker to help with her dog reactivity. Today in our WALK and TRAIN session, we had some great results and can start seeing it come together with promising results

❌ Socialization of your dog is NOT dog parks and doggy daycare. Socialization needs to start as a pup, introducing it to a WIDE variety of stimuli in a controlled neutral environment so the dog has no reactivity to it whether fear based or over excited. This will make for a balanced confident adult dog.
