As a pet owner and independent petPro it is awful to hear of pets becoming sick and dying from pet food.
If your pet refuses to eat the food, they might be telling you that there is something wrong with it! Does the food look or smell different then it has in the past? Did they suddenly stop eating?
If your pet is lethargic, has a loss of appetite, vomiting or suffering from diarrhea or any new symptoms please be cautious as the food might be the cause of their issues!!
Often manufacturers will not pull products off the shelves until they are forced to do so!!
Please be vigilant about your pet's food!! You are responsible for your pet's nutrition because you do put the food in their bowl every day!!
There are websites that you can check to see if your food is part of a recall, but sometimes a recall is too late for many pets!
