It’s never easy to ask — but the truth is, we’re often caught between a rock and a hard place.
When we share the stories of animals in need, it’s because they truly need help — urgently, desperately. We do our best to raise the funds required for their care, but the reality is, we don’t always reach our goal. And yet… we help anyway. Because how can we not?
This little kitten came to us in pain, suffering from a badly broken leg that required immediate surgery. The cost? Nearly $1,000. What we’ve raised so far? Just $220.
We are incredibly grateful for every dollar — but we’re still far from where we need to be. And the bill remains.
We always try to stretch what we have, to do more with less, to answer the call — because we are often the first call made. But the truth is, there may come a time when we simply can’t keep doing this without your support.
