When most people hear “boarding,” they picture rows of kennels, dogs in crates, and a pretty lonely night. That’s not what boarding looks like at Camp Run-A-Mutt. 🐾

Here’s what’s actually happening when your dog stays with us:

- They spend the day doing what they do here — playing with friends, running on our turf, living their best life
- At night, they settle in cage-free — no crates or isolation
- A staff member is in the room with them all night, every night

That last one matters a lot, especially around July 4th. While other dogs may be alone in a kennel when the fireworks start, ours can relax with their friends and a trained, loving staff member who never leaves them.

Your dog deserves more than just somewhere to sleep. They deserve Camp.

July 4th is one of our favorite holidays, but for a lot of dogs, it’s one of the hardest nights of the year. 🎆

Whether you’re heading out of town for the holiday weekend or just want your pup somewhere safe and calm while the fireworks are going off, boarding is worth considering.

More dogs go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year, and anxiety is almost always the reason. At Camp Run-A-Mutt, our dogs are never left alone overnight. A staff member is in the room with them all night long, so your pup has a calm, familiar presence right there with them when it counts most.

Spots fill up fast for holiday weekends. If you’ve been thinking about giving boarding a try, this is a great time to start. 🐾
