A HUGE thank you to all the competitors, volunteers and our amazing judge Cynthia Sandison for supporting our club and making our first official BHA trials a huge success! Despite some cold temperatures and snow there were many qualifying runs, ribbons, titles and most importantly fun with our dogs and friends 🙂. We are planning 5 more trials for March 6th-8th, 2026 and are just waiting for official BHA approval so stay tuned.

Thanks everyone for getting entries in for our Nov 8-9 BHA trials. We will be looking at judging time and maximum run values and will be moving some up from the wait list as judging schedule allows so please be patient we are doing our best to make as many people as possible smile 😊 and appreciate your support. The rats are ready - the B-RAT Pack has 7 boys and 13 girls ready and waiting 🙂. Please if anyone has shoeboxes my rats love it and I change weekly so any empty shoeboxes or boxes that size I’d gladly welcome at the trial or practice drop ins :)

REMINDER - Our November 8th-9th 4 BHA Trials open on Monday September 15th at 9:00 am sharp through Dogshow.ca. Crazy 8's was added to the other classes as well! Here is the link - set your alarms don't miss out on the fun! If you are willing to volunteer please let me know :) Happy Ratting everyone. Additionally - practice sessions for beginner dogs/handlers and for experienced barn hunt teams are about to be posted so please also check out Unleashed K9's link for training times. The Backyard Ratters has Rat N Go's coming up as well happy ratting!
