RAT-N-GO - Saturday August 24th in Ramara (close to Orillia) - indoors!

We will be hosting another Rat-N-Go on Saturday August 24th. Here is the link to the form and please read all of the club/property policies carefully. Spots will be limited so don't miss out!

NOTE - this is practice for dogs already on rat tubes / getting ready for trial this is not an intro session or for dogs that have never done the sport.

**RAT N GO**
Need practice before the Terra Cotta trial? We are having another Rat N Go on SATURDAY June 8th!!

Here is a link to the form - location in Ramara (just outside of Orillia) in indoor training hall at Unleashed K9 Performance. This is for dogs who are prepping for trial and/or on rats this is NOT for learning the sport. However - we welcome people to come and see what the sport is all about and always welcome extra helping hands :)

You may reward with a piece of food on tubes if desired and can request male/female rats, to know where tubes are etc.

SENIOR/MASTERS RAT N GO Friday May 17th - 5:30 pm onwards - To everyone in Senior/Masters who booked in for the practice tonight it is on. Please bear with me I just had to put my horse down unexpectedly and have to make some arrangements so am frazzled but welcome the company and distraction. So please be patient with me tonight I'm entirely unorganized sorry.
NOTE - bugs are bad blackflies and mosquitoes. Can crate inside if your dog will be quiet.

Our drop-in training session for Senior/Masters level dogs is full for tomorrow night (Friday May 10th) I'll be ready to roll at 5:30 pm if people can make it that early - CATHY please lol. We will start with Senior and work up to Masters I have a blind set up but people can choose to make it trial-like or more casual it's your time to practice how you like :)

I can't seem to tag people - I have Bea, Katie, Hex, Nyx, Olli, Duke & Valee & Bryn for Senior. For Masters I have Nika, Raina & Jordan

DROP IN TRAINING/PRACTICE - for Senior/Masters level dogs

Do you have a dog competing in Senior/Masters level and want some extra practice before the Brigden trial and/or the Terra Cotta trial? I will have a few spots available on Friday May 10th and Friday May 17th for drop-in training. This is just for dogs at Senior/Masters levels the course will be all set up ready to go. 6 pm - 8 pm min. 3 runs if we have time you can do more if you choose. $20 for 1st dog and $10 for 2nd dog same handler. Please PM me as spots are limited

I was going to post the entry form for the Sat. April 13th Intro To Barn Hunt Seminar tonight - then realized I am away at a dog show all weekend so as entries come in I won't be able to update the site.

So - Sunday at 8 pm I will post the link to the entry form here and will be happy to have another one if there are more people wanting spots than are available :)

INTRO TO BARN HUNT SEMINAR
Saturday April 13th

Are you interested in starting your dog in the amazing sport of Barn Hunt? We will be running an intro seminar to explain the sport, introduce your dog to the rats (safely) and begin tunnels, scent discrimination between empty, litter and live tubes and searching. Our facility is indoors, heated and fully rubber matted and our club will be hosting trials in future. Come and see how much fun this sport is and prepare get hooked!! An entry form will be uploaded here shortly please comment below if you would like me to tag you once it’s uploaded. We are located just outside Orillia.

Lisa Frederick will be teaching the seminar. My dog Jordan has his Masters and is working on his Master Championship in barn hunt and my two other dogs Journey and Addi are also in Masters with Journey only needing two more qualifying scores to get her Masters title. I am actively competing with my dogs in both Canada and the US and having a wonderful time :)

OCTOBER 22nd Rat N Go is FULL - if you commented on the Ontario Barn Hunt page (comments are now turned off) indicating you wanted in I saved you a spot and PM'd you - Please fill out the below form ASAP & pay to reserve your spot. If you have emailed me your entry already before 8:50 pm on Oct. 9th - you are counted & in and don't hesitate to PM me & I will be opening up a Nov. 4th Rat & go after the Oct. 22nd one is complete :) Thanks so much all & happy ratting!

Hi everyone - welcome to the B-RAT Pack - a Barn Hunt Association club located in Ramara, Ontario just 45 minutes north of Barrie. We have a beautiful indoor, heated, rubber matted training hall for year round training and events are excited to be planning our Fun Match & 1st BHA trial for 2024. Here's a picture of our facility and stay tuned while I learn how to build the page.
