Created By Hand Created By Hand is the work of many. Two cats, Tam and Tope serve as on-site
managers to make sure I arrive on time and stay till the work is complete.

Two
dogs, Goddard on security, keeping the house is safe while the cats and I are hard
at work, and Hana, the puppy, who is both demolition and cleanup. Shankar, my
son serves as creative consultant and is the inspiration behing CBH. Joe, my
partner in love and life, is the wind in my sails and keeps things going. Created by Hand was born from a loss - the loss of a tiny bird that my young son
(no

w 18) had hoped to nurse back to health. As it happened, death rather then
life soon followed and as a way to remember his fragile friend, my son asked me
to help him make a 'book' to hold his story. Hence, the first of many greeting card
lines was born. Since then, it is with gratitude and wonder that I have worked/
played in my own studio. I hope you too find something here that inspires your
story.
