Wags was established in 2008 as an ALL VOLUNTEER Animal Rescue. 16 years later we are still all volunteer.

Volunteer organizations, across the board, are struggling. We are no different. DO you have some time to help? YOU can help make a difference in the lives of animals!

I received an email from Sarah letting me know that her family has split into teams and bought items for four different organizations around town and they wanted to know where to drop it off.

I gave info and soon two of Santa's helpers arrived (to be honest they were more like ANGELS). They had a whole truck bed loaded with goodies that their family had shopped for with their pooled money from about 20 different family members. Their excitement when they dropped off their donation was CONTAGIOUS!!!!

The BIGGEST Thank you goes out to the Maib-Robinson & Burley Families. Baxters, Masseys, Fates and Metz!!!

We DNA tested one of these sibling pair and thought it would be fun for YOU to Guess their breed cocktail. There are THREE main breeds.................... Whaddaya think!?!?!?

A BIG thank you to EarthWise Pet Yakima for having us back again this year.
A BIGGER thank you to YOU, our supporters who pivoted when our photographer was diagnosed with Pneumonia & couldn't take our photos. YOU STILL SHOWED UP!!! Santa Dave would have been so sad had you not.... Grinch would have only gotten grumpier (we don't need that kind of negativity in our lives. ;) )

We raised over $1100 in the two days thanks to all of you....

Mickey's Misfit headed by Mickey Thompson is our Christmas Angel year after year!!! They just donated a little over $2,000 in food, toys ,cleaning supplies and treats plus $400 in cash

Unfortunately our photographer was diagnosed with pneumonia. The antibiotics the doctor has her on are wiping her out and she will not be able to take your pets pics. I spent over 3 hours yesterday emailing and then texting every person on our schedule to notify them of this change.

Now is YOUR chance to SHOOT YOUR SHOT!!!! EarthWise Pet Yakima is decorated up ~Volunteers on hand ~ SANTA will still be there today 10-4 and GRINCH tomorrow 12-4 and both are SO EXCITED to see you (well as excited as Grinchy gets).

Hope you can still come out and see us. We appreciate YOU and your continued support of our rescue!!!!
