When we don't like to be combed. We grunt & bark to show our displeasure.
Message from the doggo in the video 😜
Most of our dogs are either abandoned pets, or dogs who could not be rehabilitated in their own community due to advanced age or disability. Since we do not find many homes for our dogs, we try and become the happy home that they deserve.
In order to ensure well settled, happy, bonded dogs, every afternoon is spent grooming them, combing them, checking for ticks, engaging the dogs.
Volunteers are welcome. DM for details.
The many wonderful people associated with us are our true friends and supporters. And where would we be without them?
Thank you for helping us. And thank you to our dedicated team members for trying their best everyday.
Together we can make this world a peaceful place for all beings.
Summer in the shelter means a long bright day, sun light constantly, shedding season, tick season, curd afternoons.
Here are a bunch of our good boys and girls getting checked for ticks & combed to reduce shedding. Summer also means grooming is a must.
Come volunteer with us at the shelter. DM for details.
Our oldies rest to beat the hot summer temperature.

Our shelter land had black soil in patches resulting in dogs becoming really dirty, really fast. We have spent the last two weeks getting good quality soil put across our shelter. The dogs look much cleaner and hopefully this soil will also be able to hold plants.
Need volunteers to come up with tree plantation drives at the shelter. DM for details.
Video of an enrichment & training session in progress.
The dog in spotlight in this video is Shaitan who is loved by several members of his community. He is currently undergoing training & is likely to become a wonderful pet dog.
Visit our shelter and support us so that we can train many more dogs who are permanently residing with us. And work with us to find them homes.
Do visit our shelter and interact with the resident dogs. They are all either abandoned pets, or accident / cruelty victims, or elderly dogs who were unable to stay on their own location for multiple reasons. Our dogs love humans visiting and are interaction with good humans helps them become better adjusted and happier.
DM for details.
Thank you to many people, including @roneykhanna @archana.burman who provided and setup green net across the shelter for shade during summer months.
Kali is an elderly street dog from an area awesome feed, who was hit by a speeding vehicle. She was found almost 36 hours after her accident. She has spent one week in the hospital but the veterinary doctor has informed us that there is nothing much they can do and now she needs care and timely meals. And needs to be kept on a soft floor. She has come to the shelter today.
Pl send in your prayers for Kali.
A good morning indeed at the shelter.
Can you hear the Cuckoo bird that is visiting 🌞

Thank you to all of you who make it possible for our teams to feed over 800 community dogs daily.
Your support has ensured rabies free, healthier animals who are well adjusted in the communities. And you have ensured that humans in those communities now care for those animals and keep us updated on them when we visit.
Together we can make this world a better place, one corner at a time. ❣️
