Hi everyone, I took a much needed break from social media and I am sure nobody realized I haven’t posted since April 22nd!! But that’s okay I am back to posting, maybe not everyday but still sharing photos every once and awhile. So farm update: Selena did not kid.. I have no idea when she is due now but the kids are alive. Fancy will be ultrasounded soon to see if she took! We only have 3 kids left out of 16 kids born, the 3 are retained! It was a pretty great year to be able to sell that many kids. Anyhow enjoy this picture of big ole Paige looking for some good food😉

Did someone say soap?! Back into soap making finally🧼 not pictured are lemon, and honey vanilla! Pictured is orange, frankincense and the 2 different colors that we finally tried is the “calmer” scent.

As legacy’s buckling (Jett) was gonna be retained he is too closely related to the rest of the girls so the doelings would never be able to be bred, so he was sold and we had to find a new buck asap to go with Fynn so we don’t have no accidents happen and so Fynn doesn’t get lonely. Meet Jasper🖤

My last doe to get bred was Fancy… well I was hoping she held off until August-September! But it looks like she’s ready to be a mama in August and got bred yesterday. I’ve never had a doe kidding in August but we shall see! I’m gonna do a ultrasound in 45 days and see what’s happening in there

Paige is a great looking doe! I’m pretty impressed with how she’s growing although she’s still nursing from her mother so I’m getting like 1 cup from a doe who normally gives me 7😅

⚠️If you are easily disturbed this is your warning to scroll⚠️ we had to develop a solution to reduce Lola’s swelling following her traumatic kidding. We blended preparation H and Neosporin 50/50 and applied for several days, day and night, and I have witnessed a substantial decrease in her swelling. So if you have a doe that kidded and she is severely swollen and bruised please note what medication to apply.
