Hello, all. Sadly, I have made the difficult decision to leave the hobby, at least for now. I am releasing most of my collection, enclosures, and supplies. Located in Northern NJ. Only interested in local meet-ups for now. Please spread the word.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of activity, I promise I’m still very much around. sourGeckos is taking a bit of a hiatus from posting as life circumstances change and take priority, but we’re still here!

Also, I’m engaged! ❤️

So, I’ve been working on something I find very exciting. I’ve created a Google sheets holding as much information as possible about sourGeckos’ collection. I’ve been doing a ton of PI and leg work trying to track down as many lines of lineage as possible for all of my geckos.

I’ve also retroactively gotten stats from previous breeding seasons (who was paired, number of eggs, number of duds, number of thriving hatchlings, etc; ).

So far, I believe I’ve dug up the most information on my juvenile male, Paradox, from Gecko Barracks. I’ve gotten as far back as great-great-great(?) grandparents on his sire, Sarlaac’s, side.

It’s been a fun challenge trying to find these obscure tidbits of information and compile them together for my records. sourGeckos strives to provide exceptionally healthy animals that pack a wallop of lineage!

Handled Sunshine Dust for the first time since bringing him home on Saturday. He is much more relaxed now and didn’t threaten to drop his tail this time! These are just the pics I snapped super quick before work, expect better ones to come. 😉

Everyone please give a warm welcome to the newest addition to , Sunshine Dust! I picked this handsome man up yesterday from and am already in love.

After months of searching, I finally found a male worthy of Peachy Keen. He is currently sitting at around 30g and will be in quarantine for the next 30 days from my other sticky lizards. I am giving him some time to cool off and decompress in his new surroundings before attempting to handle him, but expect better pictures in the coming weeks!

For anyone wondering, he is out of the beautiful Heartbreaker x Ruddy Duck.

A huge shoutout thank you to Tara for this gorgeous man!

Sorry for the reused pictures, but I wanted to give a shout-out to Lilith and Parmalee—Happy Mother’s Day! These two mamas have produced so many beautiful, healthy babies for sourGeckos. I wish I could take them to a tiny gecko spa to spoil them. They’ll just have to settle for some extra tardy insects today!

Welllllcome everyone to December’s very own ! Today’s StickyStar is the lovely Lady Lucia.

Lucia is from Fringemorphs out of Cookies & Cream x Arouet. When she came to , she weighed about 11g—she now weighs 50g! She’s a great girl with a lovely personality. Hopefully, her first breeding season will be 2023!

Everyone welcome a new player to the team…Peachy Keen! This GORGEOUS Lily White just arrived early this morning to my local FedEx Hub where I picked her up. She comes from and I could not be more ecstatic! Peach is even more gorgeous than pictures show. I’m going to give her a couple weeks to settle in before doing an actual photoshoot with her, so for now enjoy these quick pics.
