He comes out when i call will take treats through the wire but i still won't risk picking him up, but hes not bothered by us much so i am making him a permanent home

Was thinking about it while sick in bed and realized one of my oldest boys is still alive and he was born in vegas that means hes over 3 heading to 4yo 💜

LASR SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT
One of my black silvermane twins born earlier this year was paired with my last Siamese (of a very old established line)
She kept making me wonder and i thought she didnt take
I went to feed them last night found one of my elder girls passed so was sad ,then turn around and hear eeping and she was still giving birth !
I quickly threw a bin together and put her in with the 5 she had and moved them under my brooder lamp and an hour later there were more 💕(9)

Shes doing amazing shes my mommys girl a super sweet ratbasador and now i have 10 more of her 💜💜💜💜
Dad is my odd eyed fawn variegated so i haven't completely lost the line 💕
They also were born on my sons original due date ,which is my son in laws birthday 🤪 so cool
Cant wait for patterns and colors to show
Ill get pics tomorrow but millie(Milagro) just had 10? Ill double check that tomorrow too (1 was still born)

One of the new harley silvermane line ,(its a work in progress) so these will be staying here to work out what/who will be crossed with to even out temperaments
I haven't been able to really be on due to severe viral bronchitis starting to feel a little better but while I was sick 3 more of my oldest rattos left for the bridge 😭

One of the hardest parts of loving and breeding rats is that you have groups the same age and when one goes you know more will follow 😞
My last fawn odd eye fem and my very last (imported) marten make Taz both left for the bridge 😭
I have a few more in that age group and am dreading them leaving too

As expected another oldie left for the bridge today i spent some time holding her last night when she wanted me to then she wanted her sister 💔

And before the slanderer starts running around lying again , i have a cage of senior rats all on their slow stroll to aging and the bridge , so lilli was one of the elders and there are a few more elders so if i post more memorials in the days to come , it comes with breeding and having groups of same age ranges, most leave in a similar time frame ,some surprise me and just go when they are called back to heaven
