We won’t be making convention this year because we originally thought we had something that was conflicting with it and after we realized we could go it was after the deadline for entrees. We have 15-20 risers for convention if anyone is looking for some. Someone asked us why we used risers and it to keep the rabbits clean from sitting in pine shavings, p*e and p**p since the bottoms are solid so we use them at convention and Nationals.

As some of you know the reason Adria has cut down on the rabbits is to make more time for her dogs. Here is her latest dog she purchased to work with that will arrive next month. The kids have named her Jersey

With nationals being cancelled this year we won’t be needing the 12 Jrs we kept back and we will have 6-10 of those Jrs available in about 2 to 3 weeks that we were growing out. No idea which ones yet but we will decide the day we post them.

We will also have nesting boxes available and probably feed cups. We don’t need 23 nesting boxes with only having 10 Sr does and we’ve kept all the water dishes from when we sold the cages that we don’t need.

I will never understand why “some” Holland breeders that have been in rabbits a long time try telling kids or people just getting started in rabbits that 6, 7 and 8 weeks old babies are gonna be show quality?!? When these breeders continue to post that young of rabbits regularly they are not breeding for quality it’s about making money. I’ve had countless people contact us on rabbits they bought at that age and the same breeder assured them it would be show quality/showable but it’s 110% pet quality. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night knowingly doing that to people on purpose. We never sell anything under 8 weeks of age (we usually don’t even wean them until 8/9 weeks of age 🤨) and anything sold between 8-12 weeks of age is pet out with NO pedigree. For us to sell at that age it was pet quality or didn’t have a part we were looking for that also wouldn’t develop with age so we didn’t want to grow it out and sell it as a pet ONLY. I guess everyone lives by different ethics 🤷‍♀️

Adria is down to 13 Sr does which 4 of those are already sold and 7 Sr bucks (one of those is sold, one will be available and one is a blue buck for her blue project) Wasn’t sure we would ever get to that number because we would sell 5 and then somehow add 7 more to breeding cages 🤦‍♀️ we have one last doe and a buck that is available and probably won’t have any for a while.
