Does anyone else’s cat have a chill-out play list? After her stroke, our sweet Callie took a couple of weeks to return to her snugly self. She sometimes seemed to short-circuit and would actually growl or hiss in frustration—completely unlike her!—like a person who’s had a stroke when they Don't Want Help. Then we played her favorite jams and all was right with the world again. (Simon & Garfunkel, Eric Clapton unplugged, Sam Cooke, et al)
