This is a baby emu I hatched.

This is not a current video for 2025.

Breeders here in Washington state are currently getting eggs from their emus.
It was so easy to incubate these, but you do have to keep them for a while. If you want to make sure they’re nice and healthy before you sell them make sure the parents are nice and healthy before laying those eggs to hatch out.
They are the cutest little things and so easy to care for.

I was Gifted a pair of Lady Gouldians.
I now have three pairs of Dmond doves and they are sooo cute.
I have some that are laced diamond doves and one normal.
Im giving them all they need to be super healthy before making babies.
They breed like mice for me so need to keep them at their best before then.

NOT MY POST JUST WANTED TO SHARE :)

I came across this old boy out on this evening's run but instead of running away like they normally do, he just laid there without a care in the world. He was clearly unwell so I sat down beside him and as I did he shuffled over towards me placing his head against my leg. I talked to him and got myself comfy because for some reason this happens a lot to me and there was no way I was leaving the poor thing alone. I didn't know what to do, I thought about taking him home with me but then I realised the best thing to do was ring an animal sanctuary for advice, but as I was on the phone to them I watched a tear run down his face and he went to sleep.
I apologize for the sad story, but there is a positive outcome because as I sat there with him for a while I imagined what his life must have been like, he may have been close to 12 years old and I imagine it's been full of mischief and adventure. Annoying farmers and dodging foxes, living life to the full and that's exactly how I want to look back and remember my days, free and fulfilled.

These guys were accidentally left out last night ,
thank goodness no one was killed from nighttime predators.

Now that I work for the Navy, I have long hours so I get really tired very easily.
Looks like everyone is happy and they’re starting to snack on their scratch. They get as a snack.
