I was Gifted a pair of Lady Gouldians.
I now have three pairs of Dmond doves and they are sooo cute.
I have some that are laced diamond doves and one normal.
Im giving them all they need to be super healthy before making babies.
They breed like mice for me so need to keep them at their best before then.

Question?
In your state what do they sell for depending on color and s*x.

NOT MY POST JUST WANTED TO SHARE :)

I came across this old boy out on this evening's run but instead of running away like they normally do, he just laid there without a care in the world. He was clearly unwell so I sat down beside him and as I did he shuffled over towards me placing his head against my leg. I talked to him and got myself comfy because for some reason this happens a lot to me and there was no way I was leaving the poor thing alone. I didn't know what to do, I thought about taking him home with me but then I realised the best thing to do was ring an animal sanctuary for advice, but as I was on the phone to them I watched a tear run down his face and he went to sleep.
I apologize for the sad story, but there is a positive outcome because as I sat there with him for a while I imagined what his life must have been like, he may have been close to 12 years old and I imagine it's been full of mischief and adventure. Annoying farmers and dodging foxes, living life to the full and that's exactly how I want to look back and remember my days, free and fulfilled.
"One way to get the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure."

These guys were accidentally left out last night ,
thank goodness no one was killed from nighttime predators.

Now that I work for the Navy, I have long hours so I get really tired very easily.
Looks like everyone is happy and they’re starting to snack on their scratch. They get as a snack.

Researcher Lincoln Oliver found this 3-legged eastern box turtle during field work. According to the engravings on the plaster (bottom of the shell), this Turtle was marked in 1924 and is at least 96 years old. Wow crazy how old this turtle is. 🐢

Chick Splade Leg Clips.

Wondering if they would do more damage with the legs getting plastic rub burns while trying to fix the splade leg situation.

Chicken yard renovations going on.
Completely covered area with Aluminum roofing being added to keep the rain and snow out.
Gutters on the back will be added, so the water can be thrown into the ditch instead of pulling up in the coop .

Chickens are getting a new covered coop area.
Moving some other pens around.
Deemed about 300 ft.² from removing blackberry bushes.
Hundred percent of the yard is now fenced in.
I won’t be able to walk in when the blackberries are trimmed from the outside every year.
