Bitter sweet day today Misty went to her new home with a lovely family to be a companion to another older pony 💜
So sorry for the delay on updating you all
When they said it’s a long road ahead they really did mean it
Misty is doing so well though she’s still having 3 feeds a day and about 5 haynets! She loves her grub!
She’s put on so much weight and really feeling well!
She’s still in the stable as the few times I’ve put her out she’s scared herself and proves hard to catch
Her surviving eye is doing well weeps ever so often but not much
I paid the last of the vet bill off so just her day to day feed and hay and bedding now
Thank you still to everyone that asks about her on texts and comments she knows she’s really loved 🥰
Little update and plead for help!
While I’m away on my family holiday mainstay is at home with my family and lovely friends of the yard making sure she gets everything she needs!
She went downhill yesterday and this was noted with the vets
But today she’s worse and needs to be addmitted into bell equine asap as her eyes are deteriorating fast again!
The funds are dry and the bills are up to date with bell this is going to cost another £1500/£2000 which we haven’t got with the last bill
Please please help share this update because I’m so worried we aren’t going to be able to help her for much longer

Alternatively please call Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic direct quoting my name and Misty to pay them direct so we don’t get go fund me fees taken
Wednesday 11th October
Morning phone 📞 call from the vets
Misty still remains in a good place with medication for the eyes and painkillers for the pain she must be in - still eating and drinking very well!
Tomorrow Micheal will re access and let her come home in the afternoon all being well
But we will have to medicate her at least 3 x a time!
Please continue to share away

This afternoon I finally went to see Misty after not going be able to get there since Friday!
She looks absolutely amazing 🤩 she’s definitely put weight on being fed every 4 hours is really helping her along with the mountain of hay 🐴
Her eyes had just been medicated so was weeping abit but to be expected
Another change into a lovely new headcollar someone lovely bought her on the Amazon wish list! It really suits her!
I also paid the first bit of the bill off with the first amount transferred from the go fund me (I will keep proof of every transaction for anyone wanting to see) ☺️
Hopefully a vet will call me in the morning to go through things more 🦄
Tomorrow makes 1 week of owning this little girl and what a transformation already 💜
Please keep sharing the donations are much appreciated along with the gifts!

Friday 6th October!
The dreaded phone call when your phone flashes “Bell Equine” 📞
Micheal was pleased to say the 2 tiny burr splinters were successfully removed from her left eye and everything looks intact and good to recover
But….. 😬😬
There’s always a “but” in these matters monday we will re look at the eyes to see how they are recovering to know what the further treatment will be - all we do know is that it’s a long road to recovery and weekly visits to the vet for check ups will be on the cards! 🤒
Misty remains in Bell Equine for now till we can take over further treatment at home 🐴
As ever I thank you all for the continued support of donating and sending her gifts 🦄
Please keep spreading the word as the journey is far from over we have only just begun 💜
Little video to show how great full she is for the new head collar and trusting me just a little to take a carrot 🥕 little steps to success 🩷
