Our pug's name is Elwood, we call her Ellie for short among SEVERAL other nicknames, and she has been our total inspiration for starting this website. Pugs may be a toy breed but they pack a lot of punch when it comes to personality and love. solutely amazed at the number of people who "don't like dogs", who like Elwood. Her temperament and striking good looks (we say the later with a giant smile) seem to win people over- no matter what. Throughout the last few years we have met several families who have been looking to bring a pet into their home, and upon meeting Elwood and spending time with her, most have decided that a pug was perfect for them. Pugs have the mastered the art of sleeping while sitting up, "scooting" around any room with an unexpected boost of energy, the head tilt, making their owners believe they have not eaten enough (EVER) and making hearts melt with their big brown bug eyes. We are not claiming to be experts on the pug breed, we just want to share what we know and what we love about pugs. We like to refer to ourselves as "pug people". We will always have a pug as a pet from here on out, no doubt about it. We watch funny pug YouTube videos, we get excited when we see pug greeting cards, we love dressing Elwood up in costumes (she actually DOES like it), basically we love anything pug related.
