Toby is an old man, he’s not self grooming anymore and can be vocal about how he feels. I know I am not his favorite activity but I do love giving him a scrub. He always looks so fresh and clean and he really is a great cat. He gets his undercoat removed, full body clip, a good water/shampoo bath and a full blow dry. Not all our cat clients enjoy a full grooming. It’s an important part of his care now, cleaning his skin and coat regularly. I know he’s going to feel great for the next six weeks. I know his vocal protest 🪧 gives his mom anxiety 😬 and I’m glad she trust me to keep him safe and not push him.

Oh we will definitely talk about Bruno 🥰

Puppies are so cute ✨ we do offer introductory puppy grooms and encourage pet parents to book baths when the new bundles come home. Bruno is a 16 week old Cava-poo visiting San Diego for the first time and an existing clients new Grand-pup ✨ Mazel fam 🥳 We talked to the new Mom about finding a groomer and establishing relationships with a Veterinarian, Trainer and Salon and nearby and of course bring him home for visits!

I love me a new ginger cat 🐱 Lars is a senior who has a medical issue that discouraged grooming and here we are. At 14 he gets to be professionally groomed and I’m here to help! Poor kitten had an infected a**l glad and now that is all healed up he’s ready to feel good. Now a full shave was not the intention so closer to fall 🍂 I can’t wait to come back and give him a much longer clip. Penny is his adorable and super sweet sister 🥰

It’s Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈 🎊
Visibility matters and we love being a part of our local community, this year we took Rose to for the first time and loved how inclusive and family friendly it was. The festival matches the energy of our Sunset Market on Thursdays. The event was free and super kid friendly, Rose spent an hour taking turns at the big jumper and there were crafts! We highly recommend it for next year 😃 Connected to our local there are a bunch of resources available to our local q***r community year round. It’s always fun starting the summer celebrating diversity and inclusion. 🐾 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Rose 🌹

We have a small Cohen and she is thriving.
Friday was so unbelievably an experience that we will definitely be processing as a family and Rose is not in the clear. We have medication coming home this time, and saw her surgeon (his care team) every day from the secondary bleed. Rose knows she has ‘new blood’ and that someone shared. 🥺😮‍💨

We have totally forgotten about her initial procedure! Which is finally healing as expected. Six days at Rady’s was not the plan but now we know.

Thanks you for letting us stay home the rest of the week for her. We did not expect to take two weeks for her tonsils, but we are eternally grateful for your love and support.

I’m proud of this business and the small family we’ve created ❤️‍🩹🐾

How’s Rose ❤️‍🩹👇

You guys, it’s 6am on Sunday. I don’t really know where to begin, it been a much longer week than we anticipated on Monday.

Rose had a routine procedure and then had the 1-5% outcome, that required two different trips to the OR and three different admissions to Rady’s. We tried to come home twice, our healthy eater fooling us into thinking she was ready.

We’ve found that Rose clots oddly, and she ultimately also needed a blood transfusion which she received overnight.

She ‘want go home’ she was pretty lethargic Saturday and very unlike her spunky adventurous self. Already four hours after her new blood we’ve gotten eye contact and even got a few half smiles.

We are not sure when we will be back grooming, we appreciate your patience and actually have a call to action 🆘

If you would like to help, what we really need is groceries/rent. We had half a week booked/rescheduled and now two days into next week. ‼️ Help buy us a Coffee or a Happy Meal. Our Venmo is in our bio link. Share our post with your friends, keep Rose in your thoughts.

Everyone meet Tippi the 14 week old Havanese puppy. She is absolutely too flipping cute and her tie up is just adorable. We sent dad out mid-groom for ties and I just can’t even. Little Tippi I can’t wait to see you in six weeks you little playful puppy 🥰

Meet one of our most varied packs 🐾

We have Coco, Bella, Mitchy and Tobi. A beautiful forever pack their family likes to rescues and often friends are over for some canine playtime, it pays to live with retirees. 🐾
One of the Hoomams is also an adult with special needs, and often home for this long appointment. I don’t mind explaining what I am doing or letting curious pet guardians watch, regardless of age 😉 House call and in-home services gives you the room to accommodate anyone in the home, pets and humans alike. 💚
