Meet Elsie
Elsie is an 18 month old Wire fox terrier who was sadly an unclaimed stray.
Elsie is a sweet natured little girl but sadly hadn't had much socialisation around other dogs.

We are looking for a kind and experienced home who can give Elsie the love and training she needs to help her over come her fear of other dogs she needs a pet free home.
Elsie can live with dog savvy children age 10 plus

Amazing news!
A lady took a photo of a fox terrier on a bus and reported it having seen the missing posts over her local page.
It turned out to be Millie and she’s back home with her devoted owner.
What a wonderful Christmas for them 💕

It’s the Fox terrier walk this Saturday down in Bakewell.
Esmae and I were so looking forward to travelling down with our lovely new dog Candy.
Unfortunately it’s not to be.
Milly started vomiting and had bloody diarrhoea one morning, refusing to eat.
She went to the vets and was given antibiotics and stomach tablets.
She has just weaned her last litter of puppies and had a soft swelling on her back teat.
She looked to be getting worse not better on her tablets so I took her back to a different branch of the vets where they scan and x ray.

Milly had to have emergency surgery on Tuesday for a hernia where her intestines and bladder had dropped down through a tear into one of her back teats.

She’s not been very lucky lately as one of my horses jumped on her in the field and then she got knocked by the back wheel of a horse trailer on the yard. Needless to say anything horses aren’t her favourite thing right now.

Thankfully an eagle eyed vet spotted that the swelling in her teat felt very much like her intestines. A scan confirmed this and that the bladder was also down through the hole and she was put on a drip and operated on the same day.
She spent the night in hospital and came home late Wednesday night.
She has a huge scar of stitches right down her abdomen but I’m so pleased to say that she’s brighter and taking gentle walks around the garden.
She will be wrapped in cotton wool now!
