Had my first dressage lesson back on my horse after his time doing rehabilitation work to get him strong and back into work again.
He felt amazing and it was lovely to see him look so comfortable in the videos compared to how he felt in November last year.

It’s been a long time coming but he’s starting to feel much better.

Had a busy few weeks getting back to it with clients new and old.
Lovely time working with so many different horses whether it be mucking out or exercising.

I still have some availability left so do not hesitate to message.

I just thought I’d give everyone new and old to my business page an update about me.

So my name is Megan, I have been working around horses most of my life.
I started riding at the age of 6 and fell in love with it all, at the age of 14 I discovered that I’d like to be a coach and teach everyone how to ride so I started to do my BHS stage 1 training. I carried on with all of my training for stage 2,3 and PTT once I’d left school at 16.
I passed all those exams and started to teach at a local riding school where I gained most of my experience working with horses.
I became a freelance coach/groom when I felt like I had gained all I could out of working in one environment and thought it would be good to explore working with other peoples horses.

I have my own horse, he’s called Harvey and is a thoroughbred ex racer, I’ve retrained and schooled him myself. Our favourite discipline is dressage although he does like a cheeky jump session every now and then.

I hope this gives you all a little more info to get to know myself!

Lovely evening on Wednesday teaching a variety of riders who came to the pole clinic at Plum Park. All riders and horses performed extremely well!

Yesterday I took my horse with a group from plum park Riding school to tiffield charity horse show!
We did two classes. Best turned out resulted in 5th and ROR (ex racehorse) class which resulted in us getting our first ever 1st place!
I’m over the moon and couldn’t be happier with him.
Everyone else who competed did very well too!

I’ve had such a busy few weeks!
Lovely sunny weather ☀️
Looked after some lovely horses whilst their owners were away for a few days.
Teaching lots of lovely people at plum park
Lots of mucking out on different types of bedding
And to top it off I’ll be having a jump lesson on my own horse tomorrow. 🐴

Today I watched this superb little pony go off to his new loan home.
Working with him has been such a pleasure, he is hands down one of the best ponies I’ve worked with.
Wishing his loaners the best but really cannot wait for little Beany to come home.

Absolutely love working with this adorable pony called coco.
He gets lunged or free-schooled 3 times a week at the yard I muck out at all week.
He gets exercised to help keep his weight down and enjoy life.

His favourite thing to do is jump 🐴

So I have recently moved my horse to a brand new yard!
Indoor stabling, lovely turnout paddocks and eventually 3 arenas, one of which being an indoor!
He has settled in very well!

Hopefully will be gaining a few more clients once more people move their horses in for either stable duties or for lessons!

Exciting times ahead 🤞🏻
