A little about me so I can find my forever home.

I am 2 years 8months
* Male
* Neutered
* I need a Adult only home ideally so I can be calm as I di tend to get quite excited. Visiting children would be Okay
* No cats please
* I could possibly live with Female dogs as I have done so before.
* Activity level Medium to High - if I’m allowed to become bored I will fixate on things and bark. But I will come away if you are firm with me. 😉
* 🚘 I travel well
* I’m Currently in Foster in Ammanford Wales and would love my new home to come and meet me. 🐾
* I will need a rural home as I find busy towns stressful.
* I get very excited by other dogs when I’m on a lead so I need someone that can help me with this. I’m not a bad boy, just a bit misunderstood. 😔

Buster is still looking for his for-ever home. 😢Buster is very bright lad and affectionate with his people and will make a wonderful dog with a committed home.

Busters main problem is he can be highly reactive to dogs when on a lead. This isn’t uncommon with undersocialised dogs . He will need on-going help with this and a quiet location away from high density ‘doggy areas’ so he has opportunity to learn dog tolerance from a distance in a controlled way. Buster is a young powerful dog, so please be mindful of this before applying.

He likes to work for his treats and praise so a home that will exercise his brain as well as his body and have a calm and confident authority with him to offer him the direction and training he is desperate for would be ideal.

PPBC are recruiting for a budding photographer to help us capture our beautiful dogs that are awaiting homes and help raise their (and our) profile on Social Media. 📸

You will ideally be local(ish) or prepared to travel to Ammanford Wales minimum once a month, you will need to be tech savvy and obviously comfortable around dogs!

Payment will be in Collie cuddles and kisses and a lovely warm feeling from helping.😄

Foster Dad didn't take me to the Rembrance Day Parade today. As FD played a video of a soldier playing The Last Post last night to see how I would react and I sang along with the Bugle being played.
FD also loves the sound of The Bagpipes, I like singing to those too.

On our way back to vehicle FD and I sit in a semi circle beautiful dry stone walled commerotive area FD fed and watered me plus himself.
We heard a woofles bark and FD spies a black shape within the bracken, reeds and heather, sheep are scattering FD then reaches for some large four eyes plus that magnify to find some foolish person has let their dog off leash and its chasing sheep which is an absolute No, No unless your a trained sheepdog with shepherd.
FD was in a place where he could not get a signal, thus we could not report the incident until we got to nearest hamlet.
Please, please, please folks never let your four paws off leash where livestock are even if pooch has a good recall. There maybe someone near with a gun and if they see stock being chased by unknown pooch, that pooch may or most probably will get shot.

FD first had me on longline, when deeper onto moorland as he knew where we were going he changed to extender leash, because where we were going there were drop-off's, old mines hats and ventilation holes plus shakeholes, peat bog and marsh areas.
We had a lovely day out the wind blowing through our hair (fd hasn't much by the way lol having to wear a hat which I love barking at). The weather was great few threatening clouds but rain stayed off. FD tries to get me into wee burns, aye I hae a drink poo, but get my feet wet noooo way Hosė Buster eyes it up n jumps, I'm not at seaside thus no toes in water haha.

FD needed a rest, I'm looking at bunnies, grouse n sheep plus see a hooman walking wi walkin poles tha I fink is funny.

Foster Dad has worn me oot today wi training and long walkies.
I'm taking a rest in a place I wasn't sure of before. FD was patient with me getting used to this wire box thing they term a "Cage", it's not too bad after all with fitted carpet, my new rugs and I nicked a pair of FD's joggy bottoms for comfort. I've also a doggy carpet in the hallway if I feel like going there.

My FD took me out today and bought me a Benebone infused with Real Maple Wood today from Pets At Home and I am loving it.

Today my foster dad took me for a long walk somewhere new to explore I was a good boy. Then we went to "Ben's Bar". I had a wonderful time meeting all the staff whom gave me tummy tickles, and one member of staff took a series of photos of us. Can I ask? Do I look proud? Because, I also met lots of customers and I felt great, my tail was like an aeroplane propellor at full throttle.
One of the staff members brought me some doggy treats....I was a little naughty whilst FD was busy drinking his tea as I popped my front paws on the table and knocked the treats to the floor and eat them all.... Shame it wasn't chicken breast lol😆

Yesterday I went to the vets and they said I was a very good boy. FM now says I can be re-homed with more types of girl dogs now. I don’t know what she means but she is making me wear a cone on my head. I will show you what I look like next time x

Hoping you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend. We went a walk yesterday away from home & met some cows. FM said I should not bark at them so we sat here for quiet a while and I got treat’s because I was quite. We did get a little bit closer but then I barked so FM made us walk away. So this morning FM decided to try me at cannicross, I think I look very smart in my harness, FM said I pulled really well and went to fast for her, I really enjoyed it x

I love going in the car, I am not the best at getting in but FM says I am improving. I also occasionally bark at other dogs we go past but apart from that I am as good as gold x
