I can hardly wait to present the cutest doggy duo that ever lived! These beautiful Westies Carrie left and her sister Sophie right. Sadly Carrie is no longer with us so this piece was commissioned as a loving tribute to the close bond they once shared. Reunited once again on canvas to inspire many happy memories for years to come. White coats poses a unique yet satisfying challenge of capturing all those deep layers of pinks, purples, blues, creams and greys! I'd love to know your thoughts? 🙏🐾🐶💕

Westle number two to add to the canvas is sweet Carrie, who sadly passed over the rainbow bridge. Carrie was petite in size, smaller than average westie. She had gorgeous deep dark brown eyes, and always had little quiff in her hairline! She will be joining her sister Sophie on the canvas to capture the loving bond they once had. I will share the finished double portrait soon! x

Introducing the cutest little Westie around! This is Sophie, with the most innocent looking eyes and cute button nose. I love creating that silky white coat with endless layers of soft blues, purples, pinks and greys. She is soon to be joined by her sister Carrie on the canvas. Just look at this little cutie! I adored having this little angel grace my canvas recently. This is Sophie the Westie, with the most innocent looking eyes and cute button nose. I love building up layers of all the tonal varieties in a white coat - all those soft blues, purples, pinks and greys, which together add depth and pop to the portrait! I hope you like it so far? 🐾 ❤️🙏

It was a real honour to capture this special little pug for his adoring family. I just love those big soulful puggy eyes, perfect little puggy button nose and cutest little puggy tongue! Poor Mugsy has been unwell so I really hope this portrait brings great comfort and joy to his family for years to come. Would love to know your thoughts? x

Delighted to reveal that the bearer of those beautiful eyes in my previous post are that of a PUG! Well done to all those who guessed correctly. And no ordinary pug at that. Hardy's finished portrait. This gorgeous Australian Goldie was commissioned as a special commemorative gift for xmas. All those sumptuous rusty caramel colours were a delight to use after a fluffy of black coat portraits! I received this wonderful testimonial below, which warmed my heart knowing how much it meant to them. (8x8" soft pastels).

"My boyfriend and his family absolutely love the portrait, they were very teary eyed when it was opened but so over the moon at how amazing he looks. He’s taken pride of place on the bookshelf with his gorgeous ashes displayed in a golden retriever statue! I can’t thank you enough!"

The beautiful 'Buddy', springer spaniel 12x12" soft pastels. Described as a playful bundle of energy, incredibly loyal and protective. He sure is a handsome fella, and he knows it apparently, using his piercing eyes to get you to forgive him for just about anything!! It was such a joy to capture him in this almost regal pose, along with all that silky smooth fur and shiny curls! I hope you like him. I'm excited to share this Xmas commission of Springer Spaniel Buddy. Buddy is a bundle of energy, very playful and loyal and oh so handsome. **Osric** (10x10" pastel pencils) gifted Xmas morning. For those who guessed his breed, this magnificent boy is an Australian Shepherd (black tri) who's nickname is goober because he's always goofing around, as reflected by his big broad smile! I imagine this big boy gives AMAZING cuddles!! x

The festive CATastrophe is in full swing in this household as Graham the cat battles it out with our Xmas tree!! He's already toppled it once, caught in the nick of time by yours truly! 😹 Don't be fooled by his butter wouldn't melt facade!! 😂 Next year I plan to have these made into Xmas cards!! Tehe 🤭
