A break from our usual client content for a true story and a reminder! Last year my very own father was supposed to visit for Thanksgiving until he realized his DOG CARE PROVIDER was all booked! Yes, his daughter is a pet care provider and he STILL forgot. Yes, I gave him sufficient grief about it. And YES he already booked his pet care this year. Have you?? We still have spots in Iowa City, North Liberty, and Coralville for both dogs and cats on our route so make sure to get your requests in soon, lest you disappoint your own kids and grandkids 😉

We talk a lot about our love for senior dogs, but we have just as much love for older kitties and the specialized care that comes with them! This Caturday is dedicated to the advanced felines and all of their insulin shots and compounded ear creams and sub-q fluids and pill shooters and sunny napping spots and knowing purrs.

Don’t even get us started on senior dogs 🥹. Duke became a fast staff favorite after we snuck him onto our walking schedule when his owner encountered a hiccup while moving. We have a universal soft spot for the golden years!

One of my absolute favorite parts of this job is reuniting with old clients. We first met Madden in 2014, almost 10 years ago, when I was pregnant with my first child. Our business looked a lot different then, and so did I, and so did Madden! Over time clients, come and go, whether moving, pets passing away, or changes in work circumstances. And a lot of our old clients went in that direction in 2020 as people transitioned to working from home. So, it was with great delight we received word that Madden would once again need our assistance. Our door is always open, whether you’re moving back into town or heading back into the office!
