Please meet the wonderful Lola ❤️

Fifteen-year-old Lola arrived at the sanctuary after her human companion’s health started to deteriorate. A family member tried to introduce her to their cats but sadly Lola didn't want to share her fuss. 😢

She is perfect in every possible way!! She loves attention and will happily sit on your lap for hours on end. She has the most adorable little face anyone could ask to wake up to in the morning. ❤️

Sadly, Lola has stage 2 renal disease which is currently supported with a renal diet. She has a grade-four heart murmur which after a recent heart scan has shown she has thickened heart muscles so she is on medication to delay the start of heart failure. ❤️‍🩹 Oh and she’s also completely deaf!! 🙈

But we don’t look at these as a negative if anything this makes her even more unique and deserving of a loving home. 💖

❤️ Wee man Woody is requesting applications! ❤️

Poor Woody has had a less-than-ideal start to life. Left tied to a post, a kind member of the public contacted the dog warden and now Woody has found himself in the care of the sanctuary. 😢🙏

Woody is an adorable chap who lacks confidence but is bursting with love. He will need a kind home where he can feel safe and adored. 🥰

This Saturday, I’m doing Tough Mudder to raise money for the animals at Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary.

This is the start of many busy months of pregnant cats and mumma cats and kittens are found or abandoned in desperate need of the love and care of the sanctuary.

Re- introducing Jingle 🥰

Jingles was found pregnant when Eva from Saving Harbin Dogs took her out of the auntie s shelter, yet another survivor from the September slaughterhouse and puppy mill rescue.

Jingle has been busy looking after her baby Bell for a while but now she is a single lady who needs a home 🥰

She has floppy ears nevertheless she is beautiful 😍

She is around 2 years old, good with other dogs. She can be cat tested, she will be great with children over 8 years old.

She can travel to UK or Europe ( just tell us nearest airport and we will check)

Foster Homes Needed 💖

With the holiday season starting and with kitten season appearing to be all year round, we are currently looking to increase our foster network ❤️

Fostering is so rewarding but at the same time, it can be emotionally difficult, especially when they are ready to fly the nest. 😍

The sanctuary will provide everything they need whilst in your care. 🐾

We are looking for someone who can offer the following:

✅ Pet-free home or a spare room
✅ Cat-savvy children
✅ A safe space within the home
✅ Someone who will be around most of the day
✅ Previous fostering experience would be great but not essential.

All foster carers must be able to drive to the sanctuary and in the event of an emergency travel to The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury

On May 18th, I’m taking on Tough Mudder in Oxfordshire to raise money for The Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary .

They are such a fanastic charity focused on taking in, rehabilitating and rehoming cats, dogs and rabbits.

They have become a big part of my life recently with being given the opportunity to foster, regularly socialising felines and gaining knowledge and experience in the process of rehoming one of the temporary residents.

Twelve-year-old Merlin needed our help after his human companion sadly passed away. It’s clear this lad has come from an extremely loving home. 💖

Merlin is a big lad the photo doesn't do him any justice. But he's such a friendly giant and has become a big hit among the team and our socialisers. ❤️

Introducing OPAL... this sweet girl turned up at our shelter gate by herself one morning asking to be loved and taken out of the desert heat.

She is approximately 1 year old, spayed, medium sized and in good health. She is very friendly and enjoys playing and cuddles with people. She is social with other dogs and very active.

Opal is currently being made ready for travel to the UK, and would love to find a forever home of her own. If anyone would like more information please pm us.

Meet Preto!

This purr monster was born in a garden with lots of other black cats. She and her 4 brothers were rescued by Croydon Animal Samaritans on 29th August and came directly to us.

It took just 3 weeks for fosterer Steph to work her magic and help this 6 month old adjust and what a lovely girl she is!

Her brothers will also be looking for homes soon. Different levels of timid and mischief but all want to be loved. Black still seems the least likely to be adopted 😿

🧡 Kitkat is a cute little boy, 6 years old. He’s very playful, and particularly enjoys chasing shiny balls and chewing anything stringy. He certainly has some odd tastes, being especially fond of biting cardboard and sitting inside plastic bags. He’s very affectionate too, and loves to cuddle or nap on your lap! Plus he’s a chatty kitty, he always makes sure to talk to you when he sees you, even if you can’t understand one another! Unfortunately, he also has some medical problems. Kitkat has abnormal kidneys, an inflammatory bowel condition, and FIV (meaning he would have to be an indoor cat). He is on two types of daily medication, but trust me when I tell you he behaves as though there is nothing wrong with him at all! Kitkat is looking for a home as an only cat where he can have all the attention to himself.
