This post is dedicated to Nicky Robinson, your love, compassion, determination and commitment, to catching and securing Sassy, has ultimately changed her life forever.
Sassy has found her purr ♥️
When I first meet Nicky, she considered herself ‘more of a dog person’.
I think it’s clear, Nicky also has a soft spot for cats 😊
This is Elliot, he’s 4.5 weeks of age. Ideally he should be weighing around 400-500grms.
Elliot has gained a mere 16grams since Friday.
Please send Elliot some positive strength to eat more!!
Waterlily is heading off to her forever home tomorrow, I am going to miss this sweet, sweet girl!!
Thumbelina has regained all the weight she lost while she was critically ill, she is still not 100 percent back to her old self (she still coughs occasionally), but, hopefully she is well enough to receive her 2nd vaccination at her vet check tomorrow.
Tigerlily is on the mend, however, both her kids are quite poorly, I’m bottle feeding them both, 4 hourly, neither of them are gaining a significant amount of weight.
I have a range of kittens being treated for either eye infections 3-4 times a day or gastro issues, so this is also keeping me on my toes.
And, to top things off, I respond to a request to help a Mum and kittens living rough on Saturday afternoon, I have completed 7 round trips, 1.5 hours there and back, to find that I have inadvertently uncovered an animal hoarding situation. All felines trapped were friendly, but in an absolutely horrific state of health 😞 A BIG thank you to SPCA Wellington/Wairarapa for all your help, support, advice and for taking these poor souls into your care today!!!
Apologies to everyone who has contacted me over the last few days about adopting kittens. I will get back to you as soon as I’ve had a chance to recuperate 😊
Calla is making some fantastic progress. She’s being super brave/trusting and slowly opening up to me.
Her four kittens (3 girls and a boy) are doing great ♥️
🥳HAPPY NEW YEAR🥳
Thumbelina slept through the fireworks, she was purring in her sleep 😴 She is such a happy wee girl!
(Sound on for purrs).
A BIG thank you to CareVets Kilbirnie who have managed to squeeze us in a couple of surgery appointments tomorrow.
Two of our Queens will be looking for their forever homes this weekend.
If you are looking to add a young, affectionate, female feline to your family, please get in touch.
Please note, we will NOT have any more kittens available for adoption until mid January 😊
Afternoon tea served in bed for Calla. The OCD in me is desperate to swap out her bedding, but it poses far too many risks to her and the kids.
Naw, even Cheezel is giving Thumbelina some love 💕
Deployed is a neutered male, there is no point flirting with him, Tigerlily 😳😆
