Sweet Twister finally had her breakthrough this week! We can finally pet and love on this girl and she loves every minute of it. She has been coming to the edge of her cage crying to be pet and nudging our hands. She does well out of the cage and so far has been good with the other cats. We knew Twister had it in her, she just needed time to trust us. She has become such a love bug and has even been happily letting visitors in our shelter pet her! We are so happy with Twister’s progress💕 She would make a lovely addition to anyone’s family, please stop in and meet this sweet girl

Xena is a 9yr old pomeranian who was brought into our shelter by a local animal control officer. They know the owner and felt Xena would do better in a new home with someone who will actually care for her. We were able to get Xena's vet records (everything was expired for yrs and she wasn't spayed) so we know for sure she is 9yrs old. After seeing our veterinarian, Xena is now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Xena also had most of her rotten teeth pulled and is in need of a quiet and caring home that can provideher with the love and attentionshe needs and deserves. This little senior lady weights in at only 5.4lbs.

Krissy is a 6 month old Mountain Cur mixed with something that gave her a gorgeous red coat. Add in her spicy personality and she lives up to her nickname--Ginger Snap! She is sassy and loves introducing herself to all dogs and people--regardless of size. After being a social butterfly at the park she likes to curl up in your arms for kisses and snuggles. This little girl packs a big personality so put in an application and ask for a meet and greet!

Meet Kovu! This handsome fellow was found wandering the roads scared and alone🥺. He was skittish and unsure at first but over time (and with lots of love) he has become a sweet boy that loves to play and give kisses. He loves to play with one of our shelter dogs Moira, who is an outgoing, social butterfly, 🦋 😆so he could live with another dog. Kovu needs someone willing to be patient and willing to go at his pace. The Woodbury Animal Shelter would like you to meet Twister. This beautiful girl was returned to our shelter in October after being adopted as a kitten.

Twister has been scared and confused she does not like being back in a cage. We have been working with her to be more trusting of us and have made some progress but believe she would be a completely different cat out of the shelter environment.
