We are collecting flea/worm and tick treatments to help an inspiring couple who used to volunteer at Holbrook, and have since moved to Nepal to start an animal sanctuary. They desperately need our help out there!

If you have any treatments to spare, they would be grateful to have them. The donations will be handed over at the end of August so please drop off any spare supplies at our rescue over the next two weeks .

Thank you in advance!

Please post any spare supplies to:

~ Little Bobby is our new Old Dog of the Week! We would really appreciate your help in finding him a forever home 🩶🤍🖤
https://www.oldies.org.uk/2024/adventure-loving-bobby-oldies-club-fostered-dorset 🐾

Bobby is a 14-year-old Patterdale x Jack Russell Terrier, who came into Oldies Club care when his previous person had to go into a care home. Bobby is looking for a home that is all on one level, with easy access to the garden, i.e. a bungalow or ground-floor flat, as he has weak back legs and can't manage stairs easily.

Bobby is looking for a wonderful forever home where there is someone with him practically all the time. He will need to sleep on his person's bed. He is fine with other dogs on walks, generally greeting them happily, but hasn't lived with other dogs before and is looking to be the only animal in his forever home. He is a cheerful, gentle soul and could live with dog-friendly children aged 10-plus and should be okay with younger visiting children, as long as they are carefully supervised, of course. He is looking for a home without cats.

Bobby loves car rides and would definitely want to accompany his person somewhere rather than be left home alone, which is upsetting for him. He loves going out on adventures 🌳 with his people, although he does need encouragement if it's raining! He's well-behaved and steady on walks and takes other dogs, joggers and traffic in his stride. He is kept on a long lead for walks and also has a doggie buggy, should he get a little tired during a walk 💤

Bobby loves snuggles on the sofa and will have a brief play with a toy. He enjoys lovely walks with plenty of opportunity to have a good sniff 🌳 and is then happy to settle down near his person ✨

Please see Bobby's page for more photos and rehoming info on our sweet boy. If, after reading through it all, you feel you can offer him a loving and suitable forever home, please get in touch with us via the contact details given at the end of his page:

Brave girl Bluey came into the care of Rspca Blackberry Farm Animal centre after her previous owner cruelly beat her with a baseball bat and left her tethered outside in appalling conditions 😢

Despite facing unimaginable cruelty, Bluey's sweet and affectionate nature continued to shine and she has since found her forever home.

A tiny terrier puppy was found squealing in distress in Burgoyne Road in Sunbury on 5th April. Thankfully she was found by a passerby who took her home and called us for help.

Due to where she was found and injuries to her head and nose, vets believe she may have been thrown from a moving vehicle 💔 She's now in safe hands with our animal rescuer who is hand-rearing her.

⁣If you have any first-hand information, please contact our appeals line on 0300 123 8018⁣.

Inseparable buddies, Cookie and Billy are on the hunt for a new home and a new family to call their own. Aged 13 and 6, they enjoy shorter strolls (and several of them!) before they lounge next to you for the rest of the evening. Is there room on your sofa for these two? 👉 https://bit.ly/3Tmypej
